First of all congrats for securing 579 rank in CLAT PG 2019 . As per my knowledge students below 1k ranks are eligible for almost all top NLU (it will be little tough if you are from general category) . So you have very high chance of securing good course in 2nd round of counselling else last round counselling is all yours :)

I am assuming you a general candidate (for reserved category it will be much easier) As per previous year cutoff and trends you will definitely get assured seat in tier 2 NLUs Though it will tough for getting seat in top ones still you have hope and you have to wait till last round for getting top colleges .

Acc to previous years cut off rank analysis which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon a no of factors such as no of applicants, seat availability atc etc so nothing can be predicted with 100% sureity as cut off ranks change every year, last year cut off rank for mnlu aurangabad was 1707,and was 5757 for mnlu nagpur, so you might have a chance if cut off rank pattern remain same like this.

First, you need to mention which NUL you are asking about?

Because different regions' NLUS have different criteria.

Basic eligibility is 55% in LLB (50% for reserved categories.)

NLU Delhi and HPNLU Shimla do not participate in the CLAT as they have their own separate exams, eligibility is similar to CLAT.

The cutoffs of CLAT are different for different categories of students.NLU,Odisha has relased the cutoffs for CLAT 2019.Based upon the CLAT cutoffs for the first round you can expect the follwing NLUs(assuming that you are from the general category):-

• CNLU Patna
• NUSRL Ranchi
• TNNLS Tiruchirappali
• DSNLU Vishakhapatnam
• MNLU Nagpur
• NLUJAA Guwahati
• DNLU Jabalpur

You have scored a decent and a good rank in CLAT 2019 and you can expect chances of admission in the following NLUs.With the rank you have scored you can also try for other private and government colleges participating in CLAT 2019.

You have scored a good OBC category rank which will help you to get admission in many of the colleges.The cutoff will be released by GGSIPU tentatively by the last week of june.There are many factors affecting the cutoff which include difficulty level of paper,previous year cutoffs,number of candidates qualifying the exam,etc.

Now based upon your OBC rank of 261 you can expect chances of admission in GGSIPU.Let me tell you that Delhi students get more of the advantage in terms of cutoffs for admission in GGSIPU.Wait for the cutoffs to be released as you have scored a pretty good rank for admission.
