Hi Yuvakshi

As per the previous years cutoff trends of various NLUs you will not get any of the NLUs with your mentioned rank in UR category but if you belong to the  reserved categories the you can surely get the NLUs . You may use our CLAT college predictor tool to know about your probable Colleges

Can I get any IP colleges with 1600 clat rank in pg? And is it worth doing llm from ip university?

Ritika Sharma 15th Jun, 2019
Hi,
You can expect a seat in IPU based on your rank. It would have been better if you shared your category and state also, as that makes a difference in cut offs and admissions in IPU.
You can check more specifically about a college using this link: https://www.careers360.com/college-predictor.
Also, if you really wish to pursue LLM and it doesn't seems easy to get admission anywhere else, then IPU isn't a bad option. You can go for it.
Hope this helps, good luck!.

i got 4976 rank in CLAT PG belong to general category, any chance I get in NLU

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 14th Jun, 2019

With the rank you're mentioning I'm afraid you have less chances of getting into an NLU if you fall in general category. But you can definitely check out some other good colleges like

  • Ideal Institute of Management and Technology
  • Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology
  • JIMS Engineering Management Technical campus, school of Law
  • Chander Prabhu Jain college of higher studies
  • ICFAI Law school Hyderabad
  • MS Ramaiah college of law
  • Christ University Bangalore

Subjective questions in clat llm

Shreya_1549549812 Student Expert 2nd May, 2019

Hello  studnet ,

As for subjective part the chances are more that the subjective questions will be from Jurisprudence topics , general leagal or constitutional law.

So, I will advice you go for mock test or practise as many question as you can and also go for previous year question banks.

Hope it helps.

Thank you  :)

What is the expected cut-off to get admission in PG programme of HPNLU and NLUJAA?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 7th Jun, 2019

For NLUJA, Guwahati you'll have to score at least 110 and for HPNLU you'll have to get at least 108 in CLAT for general category students. But even if you manage to score this much it is not certain that you'll get into these colleges because there are several other factors also like the number of seats available for different category students and students having the state domicile. But it's always better to score more in order to be on the safer side.

hello, my CLAT PG expected score will be 50 so can I get nlu of any rank?

shwetasaini505_9233227 Student Expert 5th Jun, 2019

Hello Namrata,

National Law Universities are the most reputed law colleges in the country and quite difficult to gwt into.

You require atleast 75% score in CLAT to be eligible for any of the NLUs based on the previous years'cut-off trends.

You must score atleast 115 marks or above if you want admission in any of the NLUs. If you consider the previous years'cut-offs then the lowest closing marks have been 114.5 in NLUJA Assam and 114.5 in TNNLS Thiruchirapalli, and these were the closing marks in the last merit lists, not in the first ones.

So it is almost impossible for you to get in with this score. Maybe try harder next year or try for some private colleges.

Hope this helps.
