Generally 20-22 questions are asked from this area, i.e from Mathematics. You can divide the whole mathematics into 4 parts, Arithmetic, Algebra, Mensuration & Geometry and basic trigonometry.

There are many legal maxims however, you don't need to remember all of them. Try to memorise 35 to 40 legal maxims which are mostly asked in CLAT. Go through previous year exam papers, list all the legal maxims those were asked in those years and prepare from there. Also
