What if due to some reason i am not able to attend the first merit list admission can I participate in second merit list admissions

Sumit_1492180752 Student Expert 22nd Jul, 2019

Hello

You might get someone else on you behalf to participate in counselling by writing a letter authorising someone else to attend counselling on your behalf.

If you get any college in the first list then take admission since the admission gets over soon and lots of seats are filled in the first list itself.

Hope that helps.

My marks is 149 and serial no. 6461 Category ST. Is any chances to get admission?

Darshita Shukla 21st Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant!

No, I am sorry to tell you but you have no chances of admission with a score of 149 and rank 6461 even with belonging to reserved ST category. I would advice you to look up some other colleges because getting DU LLB is out of the option. I hope this information was helpful!

I wish you all the very best!

Hi, while document verification do I have to submit both character certificate and gap affidavit or just one will do ?

debolinadawn 20th Jul, 2019

Dear aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. As per your query and according to me definitely you should submit both character certificate and gap affidavit during document verification as it is not sure what they will accept so it is better to be ready with both the documents. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.

Hi sir/mam, I have one year gap after graduatn so is it very much needed to provide gap certifcate for du llb admission

mansiprofessional234 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hey !

You will face no problem to get admission in DU LLB if you are a gap year student bit all you need is to submit the required documents , as mentioned in the DU LLB guidelines. And yes , the dicuments are also necessary for one  year gap students as a gap is a gap , no matter it is of one year or of 10 years. You have to submit the documents in both the cases. And  the documenf that is needed is the gap year affidavit. And it just needs ariund 200 INRs and can get it made easily.

Hope it helps!

Hi my sr.no is 6224, rank 152,marks 152 in du llb also I come under cw category (priority 5).so is there any chance of me getting into clc?

Gobind Singh Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hi Abhishek,

Going by the last years DU LLB cut-off for CW category in the third list the cut-off was 36 marks and rank 289 and the cut-off marks for the first list were 102. So, going by that you have a good chance of making the cut. Your entry into CLC would depend on the number of seats available for your category, your marked choice, and the number of applicants having higher marks then you in your respective category opting for CLC.

Hope this helps. All the best...

Hi!I have score 168 and combined rank 136 in unreserved category in DULLB entrance. Is there any chance of getting through the cut off list?

Souparni Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hello Aksheta,

As per the previous year cutoff trends, the cutoff ranks for a General category candidate ranged from 91 to 101 over the first to the fourth lists. It seems that you have slight chances of making the cutoff list as your rank lies way off the mark. However, don't lose hope as cutoffs change every year. Wait for the rounds, but look for other institutes and colleges to keep your options open.

All the Best!

I got 162 Rank in DULLB with CW quota, whats the procedure to attend the counselling, Will I get any call letter or I should go by myself?

Anjali Tanwar 20th Jul, 2019
Hello Shreesh,
The schedule of the counseling for DUllb will be notified on the official website of Delhi university itself.
The candidates who are then eligible to apply for counseling to appear in personal at the admission committee on the specified date and time as notified by the Delhi university with all the required documents and the photocopies.
At the time of counseling, the candidate must produce the admission ticket and all the documents in original.
I hope this helps.
All the best for the future!!

One line regarding character has been already mentioned in my college leaving certificate. Do I need to get a separate character certificate

Ram Tiwari1 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

A character certificate and a college leaving certificate are two distinct things. They might be included in the same piece of paper but they serve different purposes.

A Character certificate states out your moral conduct or behavior (good or bad) during the time you were in college.

While a college leaving certificate or migration certificate helps you to get admission into universities other than your parent university for further studies.

The provisional certificate however is a provisional degree which you can use instead till the university issues the final or original degree to you, which normally takes up to 5–6 months or a year in some universities.
