215 in gen cat ...what can i expect

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 10th Jul, 2019
Hey.
According to the previous year trends for admission in Delhi University for the 3 year LLb course, the cut off for admission in the year 2018 was around 226 marks. In the previous year 2017 the cut off for admission in DU for 3 year LLB was a score around 236. The cut off changes each year due to several factors like level of difficulty, competition etc. But you can still expect the cut off in a similar range. Hence your chances seem a little less. But if this year the cut off is lower than before you would have good chances for admission.
Best of luck

215 in gen cat in du llb..what are the chances?

Raji_49 Student Expert 9th Jul, 2019

Hi Aspirant,

According to the question you have not clearly mention whether 215 is a rank or mark that you have scored in the examination. However I will give information in both the cases.

If 215 is the mark you have scored then you have  good chances to obtain a seat in DU for llb.

However if 215 is a rank that you have obtained in the examination then your chances are very less according to the last year cut off analysis.

For Du llb - What is the difference between Migration and College leaving certificate, And where can I get them?

ruchi_1559283793 Student Expert 6th Jul, 2019

hello dear,

Migration certificate is requried when you change from one board/university to another board/university . But Leaving certificate is a certificate which you get from the last institution to join in a new institution . Its very important for further studies .

Migration certificate is issued by any educational board it gives you permission to get admission in another institution or any education body.board gives statement that they have no problem if you are taking admission anywhere. Only your education board has authority to issue it.

hope this would help you.

Did in DU llb colleges campus placement allow for legal advisor like jobs in company ?

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 5th Jul, 2019
Hey Akash.
A large proportion of people studying the course of 3 year LLB in Delhi University go for preparing and attempting Civil Services or Judiciary. But DU LLB colleges also have an active campus placements. In the previous years various placements have been made in several Law firms based in Delhi or other cities like Mumbai. There are placements in legal departments of other companies like KPMG too. Ans various lawyers also recruit through these campus placements. So overall, placements through DU LLB are good.
You can use the link below to check the placements.

What is difference between DU llb CLC and LC1 & LC2?

pdwords Student Expert 4th Jul, 2019
Faculty of Law, University of Delhi has three centres which are Campus Law Centre, Law Centre I and Law Centre II.

All the three centres are at the North Campus, with LC I and LC II at Umang Bhawan and CLC at the old building.

LC I  operates between 2PM to 7PM, LC II between 8 AM to 2 PM,  Campus Law Centre has the timing from 10 to 5.

CLC has the richest library among the three, LC I  being decent enough. LC II  has a two room library.

The faculty has a centralised placement cell but CLC with it's alumni network and because of it's brand name takes an edge as compared to others.  CLC is most preferred choice among candidates, owing to classroom environment and competition, exposure and societies.

However, the choice should be made according to one's convenience, because eventually passing out from any one these three;CLS, LC-I, LC-II is prestigious enough, the proof being number of eminent alumni produced by department of law, DU.

Hope, this helps.
