Academic Qualifications

You need to be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized Indian/ Foreign University

The General category candidates need to have secured at least 45% of the total marks in the qualifying Degree programme of 10+20+3 pattern

While those belonging to SC/ST categories need to have secured at least 40% of the total marks in the qualifying degree exam

AgeAs per the Allahabad High Courts order, the age criterion for LAT has been removed, therefore any one irrespective of any age limit can fill the applications of LAT.

Other Eligibility Conditions

If you are appearing in the final year of your Degree Programme, or awaiting the final year results can also apply for LAT, subjected to the fulfillment of minimum marks as per the criteria

Those who have pursued their graduation (degree programme) from distance mode will be considered ineligible for admissions to LLB programme in the Allahabad University as per the rules and regulations of Bar Council of India (BCI)

Allahabad University conductsLaw Admission Test (LAT)for admissions to a total of 493 LLB seats at Faculty of Law of the University.
