My rank is 295 in Pu llb entrance exam .my graduation percentage is 69.5 .will get admission.

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 8th Jul, 2019
Hello Namrata
Considering your rank in entrance exam is 295 and that your Graduation score is 69.5% you seem to have a good chances for admission in PU.
There are 300 seats each for LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that your entrance rank is quite decent and your graduation marks are quite good, so your chances seem fair. There are fair chances for Chandigarh campus and good chances for regional centres. But do wait for the final ranks to be out for a better estimate. But as of now chances seem fair.
Best of luck

Hello aspirate

Your score is not so good, it's difficult for you to get seat in PU for llb (less chances if UR) as there are 300 seats for central and 60 seats for regional. It might be possible for you to get just wait for the final merit list to be out. For more details visit the link below

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 7th Jul, 2019
Hello Simran.
Considering your score in entrance exam is 26.5 and that your Graduation score is 77.5%  you seem to have a less chances for admission in PU. Your combined merit score would be around 52 without any weightage if any.
There are 300 seats each for LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that your entrance rank is quite low but your graduation marks are quite decent , so your chances seem less. There are no chances for Chandigarh campus and less chances for regional centres. But wait for the final ranks to be out for a better estimate as maybe you can try for regional centres in subsequent counselling. But as of now chances seem less.

Which jobs available after crack gate exam after msc chemistry?

Vipul Chaudhary 7th Jul, 2019

Hi Vaishnavi Tambekar!

Greetings!

You can check the below advantages of clearing Gate-
The GATE advantage

In this context, the following points are worth noting about this examination:

Many public sector undertakings such as BHEL, Indian Oil Corporation, NTPC, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (there are PSUs totalling 217 in number) are using the GATE score for selecting candidates for their organisations. Students who qualify in GATE are entitled to a stipend of Rs 12400/- per month during their M.Tech course. Better remuneration is being offered for students of M.Tech/M.E as compared to those pursuing B.Tech /B.E. A good GATE rank assures a good job. After joining M.Tech. at IITs and IISc, one can look at a salary package ranging from Rs 7 lakh to 30 lakh per annum, depending upon specialisation and performance.

Clearing GATE is also an eligibility clause for the award of Junior Research Fellowship in CSIR Laboratories. M.Tech. degree is mandatory for those wishing to apply for research positions in R&D centres. The GATE score is valid for two years and those who qualify this test are eligible for doing Master’s degree at NUS, (National University of Singapore), Singapore. A GATE score definitely gives one an edge when it comes to joining reputed companies as well as off-campus recruitments. For those who couldn’t pursue their BTech in IIT, it provides another opportunity to study in the prestigious IITs. Above all, it certainly gives you a huge technical edge over others in all your interviews and career planning.

Please upvote if this was helpful to you.

Thank you and good luck.

Hope this helps!!!

Dear Nikita, don't be up to said about it it is not bad marks and you actually get the 1st division that a good sign and pretty sure you do well next time or we said that you increase you development score good in future competition. Now talk about your college's entrance exam. They are low and you're smart you may actually know about that but you try and they are rare chances that you may get this college but you got 63% in 12th that help you. My suggestion is that you try on this but also added some other good colleges as your backup maybe it helps in future.

All the best.

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 7th Jul, 2019
Hey.
Considering your score in entrance exam is 53 and that your Graduation score is 66% you seem to have a fair hances for admission in PU. Your combined merit score would be around 59.5. You will also get weightage for graduation in PU itself.
There are 300 seats each for LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that your entrance rank is quite average but your graduation marks are quite fair so your chances seem fair. There are lesser chances for Chandigarh campus, you can say 50-50 chances after weightage in the subsequent counselling. But good chances for regional centres. So wait for the final ranks to be out for a better estimate. But as of now chances seem fair.

I have 48 marks and 631 rank I passed my graduation with 50% is there any chance in Punjab University Llb

Souparni Student Expert 7th Jul, 2019
Hello Jyoti,

Considering you are from the General category, the cutoff score this year is 15. So, you qualify for getting admission. However, both your score in the entrance exam and the marks secured in the qualifying examination will be considered 50-50 for the merit list. Candidates scoring higher marks than you will be placed higher on the merit list. Therefore, keep a lookout for other institutes and colleges as well to keep your options open while waiting for the lists.

All the Best!
