After passing the examination you will be awarded "Certificate of Practice" by the Bar Council of India. AIBE will be conducted in 40 cities all across India. You will have 11 languages to choose for attempting the examination. Examination pattern will be multiple choice question and it will be open book exam.
- To be eligible for this exam you must be a citizen of India.
- you must have a law degree whether its 3 year one or five year one.
- you must have enrollment with State Bar Councils: you should be enrolled as advocates with their respective State Bar Councils, under Section 24 (1) (f) of Advocates Act, 1961.

As a major change in exam pattern, BCI has changed the rule of carrying study material and books inside the test centre. This means that AIBE is no longer an open-book exam. However, you will still be able to carry Bare Acts inside the allotted centre.

Is it necessary to write ah AIBE exam if we have done BCOM LLB(HONS)
First of all AIBE which is All India Bar Examination is conducted by Bar Council of India for all law graduates whether it's five years integrated course or three years LLB course to provide certificate of practice , and this is mandatory for any law graduate regarding practicing in court, hence acquiring law degree won't suffice in this case, you will be required to qualify AIBE to practice in court, for UR/OBC it's 40% aggregate, and for SC/ST it's 35% aggregate,
the eligibility criteria to appear for AIBE is passed graduation in law whether it's of integrated five years duration or three years duration from a university recognized by BCI, also candidates are required to enroll in state bar council, what happens is if you're only enrolled with state bar council you will only be able to act as provisonal advocate not as practicing lawyer, explore more detailed information regarding this by visiting our page at https://law.careers360.com/articles/aibe/amp
