I have scored 62.25 in CLAT -24.My AIR is 17691,All India OBC Rank is 2963,EBC rank 100,W-BC rank 227.I have domicile of Bihar. Can I get admission into any NLU?

Mahak Yadav 16th Dec, 2024

With a CLAT score of 62.25 , AIR 17691 , and OBC rank of 2963 , it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission into top National Law Universities (NLUs) , as their cutoffs are typically much higher, even for the OBC category. Additionally, considering your score and rank, securing a seat in well-established NLUs, including those that offer domicile-based reservations, would be very difficult. As of the current trends, it is not possible for you to gain admission to a top NLU with this rank. However, you can explore options in private law universities or consider taking the exam again to improve your rank.

how can I prepare for clat UG if I am in class 12 PCB in 2024

Mahak Yadav 16th Dec, 2024

To prepare for the CLAT UG exam while being in Class 12 with a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) background, you should focus on developing your skills in areas outside your regular curriculum, as the CLAT syllabus includes subjects like English Language , Current Affairs and General Knowledge (GK) , Legal Reasoning , Logical Reasoning , and Quantitative Techniques . Start by enhancing your English proficiency through regular reading of newspapers such as The Hindu for current affairs and general knowledge, while improving grammar with books like Wren & Martin and vocabulary with Word Power Made Easy . Since you already have a scientific mindset, focus on strengthening your Logical Reasoning skills using books like R.S. Aggarwal’s "A Modern Approach to Logical Reasoning" and practice puzzles and analytical reasoning . For Legal Reasoning , familiarize yourself with basic legal concepts, such as contracts and constitutional law, through resources like "Legal Aptitude for CLAT" by A.P. Bhardwaj . Given your background in science, you’ll likely find the Quantitative Techniques section more approachable, so continue practicing basic arithmetic , percentages , and data interpretation through resources like R.S. Aggarwal’s Quantitative Aptitude . Additionally, staying updated with current affairs through apps like GK Today or LegalEdge is essential, and refer to Manorama Yearbook for static GK. Most importantly, practice regularly with mock tests and previous years’ CLAT papers to build speed, accuracy, and familiarity with the exam format. Balancing CLAT preparation with 12th board studies requires a disciplined approach, so create a well-structured study schedule to manage both effectively. By strategically focusing on these areas, you can perform well in the CLAT UG exam and make the most of your scientific background.

Hi my ews rank is 791 in clat 2024 and i havent been alloted any seat in 2nd round and is there any chance of me getting a college also my air was around 8000

Mahak Yadav 16th Dec, 2024

Given your EWS rank of 791 and AIR around 8000 in CLAT 2024 , and the fact that you were not allocated a seat in the 2nd round , there is still a chance of securing a seat in the 3rd round or spot counseling if vacancies arise. However, top NLUs like NLSIU Bangalore , NALSAR Hyderabad , and NLU Delhi typically have higher cutoffs, so your chances of getting into these institutions are slim. You may still have a possibility of admission in other NLUs that have slightly lower cutoffs for the EWS category, as well as in private law universities that accept CLAT scores . Keep monitoring the counseling updates and be ready for any seat availability in subsequent rounds, especially in vacancy-based or spot rounds .

My name is Tanmay Rai. I got all Imdia rank 4504 in clat llm 2024 and EWS rank 291. Can I get a college based on this ranking?

Akansha Sharma 10th Dec, 2024

With a CLAT PG All India Rank of 4504 and EWS rank of 291, you stand a good chance of securing admission in some of the National Law Universities (NLUs) for LLM. Your chances improve at NLUs with higher intake and relatively lower cutoffs for EWS candidates. However, top NLUs like NLSIU Bangalore or NALSAR Hyderabad may be challenging at this rank. Consider participating actively in all counseling rounds for the best outcomes.

my CLAT 2024 AIR 41350 SC rank 3271 West Bengal domicile..is there any chance to get NLU through Vacancy or Spot Round

Akansha Sharma 10th Dec, 2024

Based on your CLAT 2024 SC rank of 3271 and AIR of 41350, securing admission to an NLU through a Vacancy or Spot Round is possible but depends on the specific vacancies at the time. Generally, top NLUs fill up most of their seats in earlier rounds, with more reserved-category seats potentially available in later rounds. However, your rank may still fall short for the most competitive institutions. You may want to stay updated on the counseling and vacancy rounds. Check official sources for real-time updates.

my clat rank is 2014.can i get admission in shiksha o anushdan

Shambhavi shambhavi 17th Dec, 2024

With a CLAT rank of 2014, admission to Shiksha 'O' Anusandhan University (SOA University) for their law program may be possible, but it depends on the specific cut-off for that year, which varies based on the number of applicants and other factors.

Typically, SOA University admits students based on CLAT scores, but each year, the cut-off ranks can change. You may have a chance of getting admission depending on the category (General, SC, ST, etc.) and the specific course you're applying for.

It’s best to visit the official website of Shiksha 'O' Anusandhan University or contact their admissions office directly for the most accurate and updated information regarding the cut-off ranks for your specific program.
