The exam patter is: Paper type is MCQ. There are 150 questions one marks each, one minute for each question and no negative marking.

Now, if we look at some of the important books for SLAT:

Hello sir/maam Any chance for 172.90 for 2019 in ur category pllz reply within time

abhikshaw100_9176398 Student Expert 7th Jul, 2019

Hello,

The LAT cutoffs have already been declared by Allahabad University for different categories.Candidates who qualify the cutoff will be eligible for counselling and subsequently the college will be alloted.

The first round cutoff for unreserved/general candidates is 176.The further rounds of cutoff based upon the previous year trend may be something like this for general catgory:-

1) Round 2-172.50

2)Round 3-172

3)Round 4-160

So based upon your marks you may be eligible for counselling after the second round of cutoffs are released and you qualify them. This year the cutoffs have been quite high. But you have secured a great score for admission.

Thank you.

My marks in lat 2019 are 160 and 1st notice takess 176 marks for counseling.Should I go to university for counseling or wait for 2nd notice?

Souparni Student Expert 4th Jul, 2019

Hello Vaibhav,

Since your cutoff score doesn't match the first list, you should wait for the next rounds and see if you qualify and only then you can go for the counselling. When you meet the cutoff in a particular round, you will be called for counselling. As per the previous year cutoff trends, the cutoff for General category students was -

  • Round 1 - 144
  • Round 2 - 140.85
  • Round 3 - 140
  • Round 4 - 128

Since the cutoff last year really dipped in Round 4, you can expect to clear in around round 3 and 4 as well.

All the Best!
