LSAT PG entrance test will comprise of four sections such as

analytical reasoning to comprehend structural relationships, draw logical conclusions for the same, apply deductive reasoning from a set of statements/rules/principles pertaining to the relationships between people/event/thing, the question included in this section will be to test the legal problem solving skills of the candidate

logical reasoning of two sections to test the critical thinking skills, legal reasoning, draw valid conclusions, reasons based on analogy, identify the loopholes in arguments, apply rules/principle, the impact of additional evidence on an argument etc,

reading comprehension with four sets of questions pertaining to reading with four to nine question to test the reasoning and reading ability of candidates

Hello Aspirant,

This is the first time when LSAT is going to conduct with variable section. This decision has been taken by LSAC, this section will be of 35 minutes and will consist of can by arguments, gaming or reading comprehension type 23 questions.

The application mode is online. The forms are out from 16 October,2019 till 15 May,2019. The exam will be conducted on 26 May,2019 in offline mode.

To register online, visit www.LSAC.org to sign up for an online account. Then click on the link “Register for LSAT” and follow the steps to register for the test at the desired location and on the desired test date. To register through the mail, you must contact LSAC to request a paper application packet.

What is criteria for LSAT exam

Hello,

LSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria vary from institute to institutes. So, before appearing in the exam, you should check their eligibility criteria of your desired college in which you wish to apply. If after registration, are found ineligible for admission then no test fee will be refunded.

For BA LLB course

  • If you are applying for BA LLB Program you must have qualified 12th board examination of 10+2 pattern from CBSE or any other recognized equivalent state educational board.
  • The minimum passing percentage of BA LLB is 45% or it may vary for each of the participating institute.

For LLB course

  • If you want to get  admission in the LLB course, you must possess Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute with minimum 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam

For LLM course

  • If you are applying for LLM course you should be a 3 years or 5 years LLB graduate. The degree must be granted by a recognized Indian Law Institute as per Bar Council of India Norms
  • Your score should be least 45% aggregate marks in the LLB course or passing percentage may vary as per the participating institute.

LSAT India 2019 College-Wise Eligibility Criteria

  1. Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law
  • Students must have completed Bachelor of Law (5 years) in first class from any recognized university.

Or

  • Bachelor of Law (3 years) in first class from recognized university along with Bachelor’s degree (not less than 3 years) in Humanities/ Science/ Commerce or Equivalent.

Or

  • Applicant’s posses LLB (Honours) degree in Intellectual Property from IIT Kharagpur with CGPA of 8.5 can directly apply for admission.
