    the admission criteria differs from college to college but the basic criteria is minimum marks required: 50% to 60%, varies from college to college. Age Limit: The maximum age limit for seeking admission in B.com + LLB course is 20 years for general category & 22 years for reserved category.

    Hey.
    Admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh for tge course of BA/BCOM LLB is done on the basis of both your result in 12th boards and entrance exam. 50% weightage is given to both the scores.
    So as your boards percentage as well as your entrance exam's score both matter equally. As most of you have already got your both results a good score in it will put you at a great advantage.
    There are 120 seats (both BA and BCOM) in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.
    Your combined score will be around 65.425 and hence you might have chances for Chandigarh  if the cut off this year goes lower than last year. And it might be lower this year as the entrance marks have been lower. Chances for Ludhiana seem more. Wait for the final ranks to be out for a better estimate to be made

    • Last date to fill admission form of PU BA.LLB 2019:July 3,2019
    • Issue of tentative merit list:july 19,2019
    • Issue of provisional merit list:July 22,2019
    • Conduct of Counselling:July 24-26,2019

    There might be 3 rounds of counselling this year.

    Candidates will get access of the merit list of PU BA.LLB 2019 in online mode.

    I have scored 94.4%marks in 12th class and 274 rank in entrance exam, can I get admission in UILS Chandigarh for BA LLB

    Considering your rank in entrance exam is 274 and that your boards exam score is 94.4% you seem to have a good chances for admission in UILS, Chandigarh.
    There are 120 seats each for BALLB and BCOM LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.
    And with your rank and marks in boards your chances seem good. Wait for the final ranks after combined scores for better estimate.

    Hello Prab,

    The minimum qualifying marks this year for an SC candidate is around 15% in the qualifying examination and at least 11.25 marks to be shortlisted in the merit list.

    Since you qualify for inclusion in the merit list, you have slight chances, because as per the previous year cutoff trends, there was no specific cutoff score for SC candidates in UILS Chandigarh, PURC Ludhiana and SSCPURC Hoshiarpur.

    Considering your your combined merit score would be around 54.5 before adding weighate of Commerce subjects. Chances might be less. But as this year the entrances scores have been low, you can't be too sure.
