The planning should be meticulous and realistic. Sometimes, we tend to go overboard and take too much on the plate when good sense should tell us that it is not practical. So, plan in a way that takes into account your situation at the moment, like where you stand in terms of your understanding of the subject, and concept clarity. Allot study time and place topics into slots like difficult, moderate, and easy. This way you can have a three-pronged strategy.
These days there is YouTube, Quora, education and counselling websites, blogs, and question-and-answer forums, where you can go and get some additional help if you need it. YouTube in particular is a storehouse of knowledge; one only needs to use some discretion to find the relevant educational video that would help them get the assistance they are looking for. Note that when you are referring to someone on a social media platform, see what kind of responses are getting, upvotes and downvotes, and total views, to get a perspective on the reliability of the source.
Sample papers would contain the same types of questions as those that will be asked in the entrance exam. So solving them is the real test. Sometimes some questions are repeated in the exam, so if that happens, you can solve them in a jiffy, if you have practised enough Calcutta University BA LLB sample papers 2025. Time management skills can also be addressed by solving sample papers; just use a timer when you start solving a paper.
Mock tests are today considered a permanent part of the preparation process. So, make it work for you. To get a perspective as to how many mock tests you need to take, Rajneesh Singh, an expert, recommends this for CLAT aspirants, “I recommend beginning with one- two mock tests during your initial phase of preparation. This will help you in assessing your preparation level. As you proceed to your next level of preparation, your number of mock tests also needs to increase with this. During the final phase of preparation, the mock test numbers ought to reach 20 a week.”
By the same analogy, the Calcutta University BA LLB 2025 aspirant also needs to incorporate mock tests in their preparation.

Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well...!!!
As per your question, every college has its admission process for English Hons.
English Hons. or a BA in English is an undergraduate degree in English Literature. It is termed a Literature degree because that is what you study. Despite the name English Hons, the course has very little to do with grammar or vocabulary. A lot of students get into the course expecting to master their English language skills through the course, however, this is not what the course aims at.
The course aims to develop a keen sense of awareness of your surroundings through works of literature. As a student of literature, you will be taught to understand how a particular piece of work is a reflection of the sociological, historical, political, cultural, and even the psychological ethos of its time.
I hope this helps you!
