Calcutta University (CU) is conducting the fifth round of CU BA LLB 2024 admission from September 24-27 for admissions into self-financing colleges. Candidates can download the CU BA LLB 2024 admission slip on the official website - caluniv.ac.in. using their login ID to participate in the admissions process. The university has completed four rounds of CU BA LLB 2024 counselling. Earlier, Calcutta University conducted the Calcutta University BA LLB entrance exam 2024 on August 18, 2024. It closed the CU BA LLB 2024 application form on August 2. The university opened the CU BA LLB application form 2024 online mode on July 19.

The Calcutta University BA LLB entrance exam was held in online, computer-based test mode. Calcutta University BA LLB Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates should fulfil the CU BA LLB eligibility criteria given below for admission to CU BA LLB 2024:
Passed 10+2 or its equivalent from the board recognized by the University of Calcutta in the year 2017 - 2019 (for general candidates); 2015 - 2019 (for SC/ST) and 2012 - 2019(for PWD) only
10+2 level marks obtained from the board recognized by the University of Calcutta:
General: At least 45% marks in best four subjects. (excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE).
SC/ST/person with disability (Disability 40% or more) : At least 40% marks in the best four subjects(excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE).
Candidate passed 10+2 from the Board other than WBCHSE, ISC,CBSE, Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya and NIOS must be obtained “equivalence certificate” from the office of the Registrar, ( equivalence Section) University of Calcutta, 87/1, College Street, Kolkata-700073 by a written application in plain paper with relevant photocopy of 10+2 Mark Sheet. Certificate will be required at the time of admission.
General candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs.500 and SC/ST/PWD candidates should pay Rs.250.
Calcutta University BA LLB 2024 Application Form
Calcutta University had opened the CU BA LLB 2024 application in online mode on July 19, 2024. Interested applicants were allowed to fill the CULET 2024 application form till August 2, 2024 from the university's official website - caluniv.ac.in. The steps to fill the application form of CU BA LLB 2024 are given below:
Candidates should first of all login to the official website - caluniv.ac.in and caluniv-ucsta.net.
They should then click on the menu ‘new applicant’ and create a new account.
After logging into the portal the candidates should fill out the CU BA LLB application form by providing the required personal and educational information. In the personal information category, they will have to provide details about the parent's name, gender, marital status, religion, nationality, and communication address. After entering the above details candidates should click on: ”save and continue”.
Then candidates should upload the following documents:
Candidate’s passport size photo – size max. 50 kb
Candidate’s signature (in english) - size max. 30 kb
Self attested copy of 10+2 mark sheet - size max 200 kb
Self attested copy of pwd certificate – size maximum 200 kb
Self attested copy of sc/st/obc-a/obc-b certificate from govt. of west bengal only – size maximum 200 k
Self attested copy of police person identity card – size maximum 200 kb.
Candidates should carefully select the college preference as it can be reshuffled only on first and second-phase admission dates.
Candidates can change or edit information in the application form as long as the application is not submitted. Once the application is submitted, candidates cannot change or edit or modify the information.

The CULET 2024 result has been declared on August 23, 2024. The university has prepared a merit list of CU BA LLB 2024 based on the scores of candidates in the entrance exam. After publication of each phase of counselling, candidates should check the college allotment status though their login id.
