    PU UG law Exam Pattern

    Candidates should note that the PU UG law entrance exam will be held in offline mode on April 26, 2026 to admit candidates into the BA LLB and B.Com LLB courses of Panjab University. The university is offering admissions to 480 seats (plus 8 seats as per court order). The registration for the PU BA LLB exam 2026 opened on March 3, 2026.

    Given below are important points related to the exam pattern of PU BA LLB 2026. Candidates must take note of these and adjust their preparation strategy for the exam accordingly.

    • The Panjab University law entrance exam is conducted in offline mode in pen and paper format.

    • Candidates get the choice to choose the language of the examination from three options namely, English, Hindi and Punjabi. They must mention their language choice in the OMR sheet.

    • The PU BA LLB 2026 exam is for 90 minutes.

    • Since every wrong answer carries a negative marking of -0.25, candidates must be careful while answering the questions.

    • Candidates are required to mark their answers in the OMR sheet by darkening the corresponding circle against a particular question.

    • Any rough work must be done in the blank space provided for the same in the question booklet.

    • At the end of the examination, candidates are required to hand the OMR sheet and the question booklet to the invigilator.

    • The Panjab University releases the answer key along with the question paper in online mode after the exam to enable the candidates to match their answers and file for the objections, if any, in a specified period.

    if I score 95.6 in boards and 33.5 in in pu ba llb entrance test with sc category is there is any chance to get admission in panjab university

    hello, i have opted for pu ba llb entrance test. I will score 90+ in +2 cbse boards. but since I was a PCM student, i am not prepared for the entrance test and i guess I'll score 50 marks. are there any chances of getting admission in ba llb or no?
