PU BA LLB Exam Pattern 2025 - Important Points
Given below are important points related to the exam pattern of PU BA LLB 2025. Candidates must take note of these and adjust their preparation strategy for the exam accordingly.
The Panjab University law entrance exam is conducted in offline mode in pen and paper format
Candidates get the choice to choose the language of the examination from three options namely, English, Hindi and Punjabi. They must mention their language choice in the OMR sheet.
The PU BA LLB 2025 exam is for 90 minutes
Since every wrong answer carries a negative marking of -0.25, candidates must be careful while answering the questions.
Candidates are required to mark their answers in the OMR sheet by darkening the corresponding circle against a particular question
Any rough work must be done in the blank space provided for the same in the question booklet
At the end of the examination, candidates are required to hand the OMR sheet and the question booklet to the invigilator
The Panjab University releases the answer key along with the question paper in online mode after the exam to enable the candidates to match their answers and file for the objections, if any, in a specified period.

Yes, you have a fair chance to get admission in Panjab University for BA LLB with your scores. Scoring 95.6% in boards is a big plus, and with 33.5 marks in the entrance test along with SC category benefit, your chances improve. PU also considers reservation and merit list cut-offs differently for each category. So, while the competition is there, your strong academic record and category reservation can definitely help you secure a seat. Keep an eye on counseling updates.

Hello Aashish,
Speaking strictly in terms of the entrance exam, if you score remains in the 50s range, then there are slim chances of you getting a seat. Judging by the cut off trends of previous years, it might be difficult for you to secure a seat for yourself in any category. However, it is not completely impossible as it ultimately depends upon the paper and exam pattern. You also have a good 10+2 percentage backing you up. There are chances that you may score well in the logical section due to your PCM background.
