Panjab University conducts the PU BA LLB entrance exam to admit students into the five year integrated law courses. Panjab Univeristy will release the PU BA LLB 2025 application form tentatively in March 2025. Intertesred candidates can apply for the PU BA LLB entrance exam till April 2025. Eligible candidates can register online for the exam on the official portal - uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Further dates of PU BA LLB 2025 such as the release of admit card, result and counselling schedule will also be notified online.

PU BA LLB Application Form 2025
Panjab University will open the PU BA LLB application form tentatively in March 2025 on its official website - uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Candidates who meet the PU BA LLB eligibility criteria 2025 can fill up the application form. One should be careful while mentioning the particulars in the form. Any false information or mistake may lead to cancellation of the admission.
Candidates have to perform the following steps to complete the application form of PU BA LLB 2025:
Visit the official website - uglaw.puchd.ac.in and click on the registration tab
Complete the registration to generate a user id and password by providing the email id and mobile number
Next fill in personal details, academic qualifications, and address details.
Upload documents supporting the academic qualification such as 10th and 12th mark sheet
Upload a photograph and specimen signature as prescribed by the university
Check the application for its accuracy and submit it
Make the application fee payment to complete the process
PU BA LLB Admit Card 2025
The PU BA LLB admit card will be released by Panjab University in online mode. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the candidates. The admit card of PU BA LLB is an important document without which candidates will not be permitted to appear for the exam. The admit card contains the PU BA LLB exam date, the test venue and reporting time. Candidates can download the admit card through the admission portal of the university by logging in with their user id and password.
PU BA LLB Entrance Exam 2025 Date
The PU BA LLB 2025 is an offline exam that will be conducted at designated test centres. Candidates must make sure to be present at the venues on time. The Punjab University BA LLB entrance exam date 2025 will be notified by the university.
PU BA LLB Answer Key 2025
Panjab University will release the PU BA LLB 2025 answer key after the exams are conducted. The answer key is provisional and candidates would be able to submit objections through email till prescribed date.

PU BA LLB Admission Form 2025
The merit list will contain the names of those candidates who have successfully cleared the Panjab University BA LLB entrance exam 2025. These candidates have to fill up the PU BA LLB 2025 admission form within the prescribed time. The university will release the admission form on its official admission portal. Candidates must fill up the application form in time in order to make it to the final PU BA LLB merit list and take part in the counselling process.
PU BA LLB Counselling 2025
The PU BA LLB counselling will begin tentatively from July 2025. The candidates whose names appear in the final merit list will be eligible to appear for PU BA LLB counselling. After the publication of the final merit list, Panjab University will publish the counselling schedule. It will be an offline process and shortlisted candidates will have to appear in person at the designated centre. Candidates are grouped together based on their ranks and different groups will be invited for counselling on different dates.

Hello Aashish,
Speaking strictly in terms of the entrance exam, if you score remains in the 50s range, then there are slim chances of you getting a seat. Judging by the cut off trends of previous years, it might be difficult for you to secure a seat for yourself in any category. However, it is not completely impossible as it ultimately depends upon the paper and exam pattern. You also have a good 10+2 percentage backing you up. There are chances that you may score well in the logical section due to your PCM background.

The PU counselling for law courses is just a process where, based on the final merit list, the students are first grouped and then called to campus with essential documents. There is no such interview/PI or GD round. These seats are allotted based on their merit in the entrance exam along with the preferences entered.
At the time of enrollment, precedence will be given to applicants who received higher grades than the other candidates. Following PU BA LLB counselling in 2022, the institution provides the admission list of applicants. The admission list will be made available individually for each category. In addition, the admission list will be published in stages according to the number of open seats in each round for all candidate categories.
The university will occupy the remaining spots after completing the counselling procedure. When it comes time to fill the open seats, applicants who had actually participated in the counselling process and were assigned a waiting list will be taken into consideration. The candidates will need to show up at the location on the designated day in order to fill the open seats. Candidates won't be admitted to PU BALLB 2022 if they don't arrive on campus before the deadline.
Candidates are asked to submit the original (or duplicate) copies of the following documents in the counselling rounds:
- Marksheets of 10th and 12th qualifying degrees (Original)
- Birth Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Gap Year Affidavit (If applicable)
- Reserve Category certificates (If applicable)
- Graduation certificate issued by the Sports Department of Panjab University if applying under Sports Reservation
- Copy of candidate’s ID/address proof (Driving License/Voter Card/Aadhar Card etc.)
- Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh

AILET, CLAT, LSAT and other BA LLB colleges have announced the exam schedule for BA LLB Admission 2022. AILET and CLAT 2022 exam date is 1st May 2022; the registrations for both of the exams has began from the 1st week of January 2022.
