Candidates can follow the below steps to check the merit list of BA LLB in Punjab University:

• Log on to the official website of PU UG Law - admissions.puchd.ac.in

• Next, click on the BA LLB/B.com LLB merit list link given in the notice board section.

• Select your category and then click on the link given for your category.

• The PU UG merit list for BA LLB or B.Com LLB will be displayed on the screen.

• Check your name, roll number and corresponding merit score and other details.

Minimum Cut off Marks to be included in PU BA LLB 2026 Merit List

To be eligible for ranking and be considered for admissions, candidates must obtain the minimum prescribed marks in the PU BA LLB entrance exam result. The cut-off marks are given below. PU BA LLB Merit List 2026: Tie Breaker Rule

If two or more candidates score the same marks, then the tie will be resolved using the following method:

• Candidates with higher marks in class 12 would be ranked higher.
• If the tie persists, class 10 marks would be considered, and candidates with higher marks would be ranked higher.
• If the tie is still unresolved, the candidate senior in age shall be ranked higher in the merit list.

PU BA LLB 2026 Seat Allotment

Candidates who are included in the PU BA LLB 2026 merit list must complete various admission formalities and make the fee payment to obtain seat allotment. Each participating institute will conduct the seat allotment and admission process separately. Allotted students will be required to report to the college with all the required documents in original and get them verified.
