DU LLB Merit List 2025: Tie Breaker Rule

In case two or more candidates obtain the same marks or ranks, Delhi University has certain tie-breaker rules to select the candidates for admission. It’s important to be aware of these rules while taking part in the DU LLB admission process.

Given below are details about the tiebreaker rule for DU LLB 2025 merit list

• The candidate with higher marks in the first five semesters (three-year average for annual mode)of the qualifying Examination will be given higher rank
• If the tie does not break, then the candidate with the higher percentage of marks in the fifth (or last year, as applicable) of the qualifying examination will be assigned a higher rank.
• If the tie remains unbroken, then the higher percentage of the preceding semester/s (or year/s, as applicable) and so on will be considered to determine the higher rank.
• If the tie still persists then the senior candidate in terms of age will be given a higher rank.

In order to make it to the DU LLB merit list 2025, candidates must obtain a score above the cut off score. The DU LLB Cut Off 2025 will be available shortly after the seat allotment. Candidates must note that admissions to 3 year LLB courses at Delhi University are conducted based on the CUET PG exam The DU LLB cutoff 2025 will be prepared based on the CUET LLB results. DU LLB Counselling 2025

Delhi University will conduct the DU LLB 2025 counselling process after the publication of the seat allotment. The DU LLB 2025 counselling will be conducted in three rounds. Candidates whose names appear in the DU LLB merit list 2025 will be allotted seats and invited to participate in the counselling process. The DU LLB counselling will be an offline process and will consist of the following steps:

• Acceptance of seat by the candidate

• Uploading of documents for verification

• Verification of documents and approval of admission by the college

• Payment of the stipulated course fees

• Reporting to the allotted campus at the specified time and date
