The National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) will release the NLU Delhi merit list 2026 online on its official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. NLU Delhi offers admission into its BA LLB and LLM programmes through the All India Law Entrance Test. NLU Delhi will invite three times the number of candidates as there are available seats in each category for counselling. Candidates who registered for the AILET 2026 counselling will be included in the NLU Delhi 2026 merit list based on their score obtained in the AILET results 2026. The merit list of NLU Delhi will contain details such as the rank, category, and admit card number of the candidates. AILET 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on December 14, 2025 in offline mode at 36 test cities in India.

The National Law University Delhi will release the BA LLB and LLM 2026 merit list in online mode. The merit list of NLU Delhi will be released in multiple rounds. The NLU Delhi merit list 2026 for each round will be updated in the table below upon official release by the university.

If two or more candidates get the same marks in AILET 2026, their merit for admission into NLU Delhi will be determined on the following basis:
Candidates will be required to complete the counselling process based on the rank list provided by NLU Delhi:
Allotted candidates must pay the admission confirmation fee of Rs. 50,000 before the prescribed time. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of admission.
After completing the payment, the candidates must download their provisional admission offer letter from their AILET-2026 account.
The candidates who are allotted the seat are required to pay the remaining university fee and upload documents as per the prescribed deadline.

Yes, scoring 94.75 in AILET 2026 as an ST candidate gives you very strong chances for admission to NLU Delhi, potentially even a high rank, as expected cutoffs for ST are much lower (around 60-70 marks), but your score puts you in a highly competitive bracket.

All India Rank (AIR) – for the general merit seats.
Category Rank – for reserved category seats (like SC/ST/OBC/PwD).

In the NLU Delhi, the admissions for general category candidates are based on All India Rank (AIR) whereas if you belong to the reserved category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS etc.) you will have a category rank with separate cut off for each category.

With 85 marks in AILET 2026, it is very unlikely to get NLU Delhi for the General category. The expected cut-off for General is usually higher, often above 90 marks.
If you belong to a reserved category (OBC, EWS, SC, ST), your chances are slightly better, but for General,
