The SLAT 2026 will have two components, namely the exam and the Personal Interview. Both components will be conducted in online mode. Candidates will be selected based on the composite scores in the exam and the PI round. The SLAT Writing Ability Test (SLAT WAT) has been discontinued.
Candidates need to follow the SLAT selection procedure 2026 to get admission into SLU and other affiliated law schools. The SLAT selections 2026 will be done based on marks scored by the candidates in the SLAT 2026 exam and a Personal Interview round. These PI rounds are conducted individually by each law school. Candidates are required to pay an additional Rs. 1000 for each law programme they have selected at the time of SLAT 2026 registration on the official website.
