What does SLS AIAT stand for?

SLS AIAT stands for the Symbiosis Law School All India Admission Test (SLS AIAT). SLS AIAT 2026 is conducted by Symbiosis International University for admission into 3-year LLB and LLM programmes. The 3-year LLB course is offered by SLS Pune while the one-year LLM programmes are offered by all the four symbiosis law schools (SLSs).

Candidates who want to appear in SLS AIAT 2026 must meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria include important information such as minimum educational qualification, qualifying examination, etc.

SIU will open the SLS AIAT 2026 application form tentatively in September 2025. Candidates can register online before the prescribed deadline. SLS AIAT Admit Card 2026

The university will issue the SLS AIAT 2026 admit card tentatively ten days before the exam. Candidates who have successfully registered for SLS AIAT 2026 can download their admit cards through their account. The admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the examination. SLS AIAT 2026 - Preparation Tips

Candidates are advised to go through the following preparation tips for SLS AIAT 2026 to perform well in the exam.

• One must fully acquaint oneself with the exam pattern of SLS AIAT to prepare a strategy for the exam. They must be aware of the type of questions to be asked, number of questions, duration, topics, and marking

• Candidates are advised to take mock test sessions wherein they practice the sample papers within the same duration as that of the test. This will help the candidates to chart out a time management strategy and mentally prepare for the test.

• Starting the preparation early with a proper timetable will leave adequate time at the end to revise and consolidate one's learning.

• Regularly reading newspapers and law magazines will help the candidate remain aware of the latest issues in general and legal issues in particular.

SLS AIAT Result 2026

The SLS AIAT 2026 result is declared online. The result will be declared a few days after the exam. Candidates can check their results by visiting the official admission portal. The marks in the SLS AIAT 2026 carry 70% weight. Shortlisted candidates are required to attend the PI round to gain admission into the law schools. SLS AIAT result 2026 will contain important information such as the candidate’s rank, provisional qualification status for PI, and other relevant information.

The exam authorities will conduct the Personal Interaction (PI) round for three-year LLB and LLM. Each institute will conduct the rounds separately as per the published schedule. For LLM admissions, candidates will be able to attend the PI round at only those SLS for which they have paid the SLS AIAT programme registration fee.

• SLS Pune will conduct the PI round for LLB programme tentatively in January 2026
• Each candidate will get a maximum of 6-8 minutes in the PI session
• Candidates will be required to upload a soft copy of a Statement of Purpose (SOP) of not more than 250 words along with a copy of a Letter of Recommendation mentioning their conduct, character, traits, etc. which is duly given by the head/professor of their last attended institute
• Candidates should also keep the original SOP and LOR for reference during the PI.

PI round for one-year LLM

• The online PI for one-year LLM programmes will be conducted tentatively in January 2026.

• Candidates will receive a link before the commencement of the online session

• Candidates will have to upload an SOP of not more than 250 words along with two references from their head/professor of last attended institution along with other important documents.

• Candidates should keep the original SOP and reference letters for the PI of each law school they wish to attend.

SLS AIAT 2026 Merit List

Each of the participating Symbiosis Law Schools will publish an SLS AIAT 2026 merit list based on the consolidated scores in the exam and the interview on their respective websites. Candidates can check the SLS AIAT 2026 merit list by logging into the admission portal of the university. The SLS AIAT 2026 carries 70% weight while the interview carries 30% weight in the final selection of the candidate. It is mandatory for candidates to attend both the components of the SLS AIAT 2026 selection process to be considered for final admission.

SLS AIAT Counselling 2026

The authorities have published the counselling schedule for shortlisted candidates. Candidates included in the SLS AIAT merit list must submit their documents for verification and complete admission fee payment as part of the counseling process. Candidates who fail to pay the required fee before the deadline will not be considered for admission.
