BEST REGARDS

Dear candidate ,
You cannot get direct admission into BBA program at Symbiosis Pune ( SCMS ) without clearing the SET exam followed by PI-WAT . Symbiosis does not offer official management or donation quota seats . Claims of direct admission through agents are unofficial, risky , and expensive, and should be avoided.
The only safe and legal way is through the merit - based SET admission process .

Hello,

First of all, congratulations for securing 93% in your 12th boards. It is a very good score!

Symbiosis Pune doesn't disclose their specific cut-offs but in previous years, programs at Symbiosis Pune have had cut-offs ranging from 76% to 79% for BA courses.

You have a strong academic profile as you have scored 93% but if your SET score is low, admission can be a little challenging. However, the personal interaction round will give you the scope to positively influence your admission prospects.

Hope this helps. All the best!

To apply for BTech at Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) Pune, you need to follow a few steps.

First, make sure you are eligible. You must have passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science. You should have at least 45 percent marks (40 percent for reserved categories).

Then, register for the SITEEE exam on the SET exam portal. Also, fill out the application form on the official SIT Pune website. The fee for the SITEEE exam is Rs2250 and the institute application fee is Rs1000.

In 2025, the SITEEE exam is being conducted on May 5 and May 11. If you take the exam on both days, the better score will be considered.

After the exam, students will be shortlisted based on their SITEEE, JEE Main, or MHT CET scores. The selection process also includes a written ability test and a personal interview.

If you have a diploma or a BSc degree, you can apply directly to the second year through lateral entry. You should have 45 percent marks (40 percent for reserved categories) in your diploma or BSc.

If you don’t want to write SITEEE, you can still apply using your JEE Main or MHT CET scores.

Once selected, SIT Pune will send an admission offer. You’ll need to pay the admission fee and upload documents like your 10th and 12th marksheets, character certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and migration certificate.

There is also an option to apply for management quota seats, but you should be careful and avoid paying extra through unofficial channels.

To get top branches like Computer Science or AI & ML, you need a good rank in SITEEE or JEE Main, preferably in the top 5 to 10 percent.

After confirming your seat, you can apply for hostel facilities. Rooms are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
