HPNET Application Details

1. Click on the link ‘Register to apply now’. 2. Read important details about the course applied for and application from the home page links which will also include important details like Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process and Reservation Guidelines. 3. Fill-in the details into User Registration Form. 4. Confirm Registration details by clicking on the Confirm tab. 5. After you login in the first page, a display of "Application Locker”, click on ‘HIMACHAL PRADESH NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY’ from the List of colleges given. 6. Choose your application form of HPNET 2018 and click on the “Apply” Button. 7. Fill all details on the form for each of the sections. Candidates should note that incomplete form will not be accepted in any case. 8. Click on Submit button for saving all details and proceeding back to the “Application Locker” for making payment for all pending application forms. 9. In the Application Locker, click on ‘Make Payment’ to pay for the Application Form of HPNET 2018. 10. On the Make Payment Page, choose Mode of Payment and verify the Amount and then click on Proceed.


HPNET Eligibility Criteria

For UG programme 1. The candidates who wish to seek admission in the undergraduate programme BA LLB/BBA LLB (Hons.) need to appear in the National Law Test conducted by HPNLU ie HPNLET 2018 2. The candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from any recognised board with minimum 50% (45 % for S.C/S.T. Students) in one attempt (no compartment). Students who have appeared for their H.S.C finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the announced date. For PG programme 1. candidates who wish to seek admission in LLM programme should have passed his/her undergraduate i.e. LL.B. Degree (3 years or 5 years) from any recognised University in India or foreign University recognised as equivalent under Indian Law with minimum 55% or an equivalent grade point. 2. As per the Supreme Court’s order on March 3, 2017, any law aspirant can apply for HPNLET 2018 as there is no age bar for HPNLU Entrance Test. 3. Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open School/Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible for the Law Course.
