CLAT Important Dates 2018: Importance


It’s always smart to know the exam dates. If candidates are law aspirants and appearing for the national-level law exam, it’s mandatory for them to be aware of CLAT important dates 2018. Moreover candidates knowing important dates of CLAT 2018 cannot find themselves stuck in any of the exam event processes. It has been found that those who apply for CLAT application form or download CLAT admit card in the last moment face different issues pertaining heavy traffic, slow speed and server down. Therefore it’s advisable to law aspirants to keep an eye on CLAT dates.


CLAT 2018 Important Dates: Calendar of events


Issue of CLAT Notification – The official notification of CLAT 2018 will be announced on December 20, 2017.

Availability of CLAT Application – NUALS Kochi is opening online window for CLAT 2018 application form on January 1. The candidates will have to register online for Common Law Admission Test. They will also need to submit the application forms of CLAT by March after filling it completely including paying the fees.

Issue of CLAT Admit Card – The candidates can download CLAT 2018 admit card on April 20. The admit card of CLAT will be available till the conduct of the online paper.

Conduct of CLAT 2018 – NUALS Kochi on behalf of the participating NLUs will be conducting online CLAT 2018 on May 13.

Publication of CLAT Answer Key – The NLU will be publishing answer key of CLAT 2018 on May 15. CLAT answer key 2018 will be published in two phases. While the first phased CLAT answer key will be provisional, second will be the final answer key of CLAT 2018 to be announced on May 26. Between the provisional and final answer keys of CLAT 2018, candidates will be offered an online window to file their objections against the error(s) in CLAT 2018 answer key, the provisional one between May 16 and May 18, 2018.

Declaration of CLAT Results – CLAT Committee will announce results of the Common Law Admission Test on May 31. CLAT 2018 result will be announced along with the score card of the exam takers.

Schedule of CLAT Counselling – Candidates who will be shortlisted in as per results and merit list of CLAT 2018 can participate in online counselling. The CLAT Committee will organise CLAT 2018 counselling from June 7. The online CLAT counselling 2018 will be held for as many as three rounds where the admission process shall close by July 6, 2018.

Since you have completed your engineering , I don't think so you will be able to appear for CLAT since you have passed your age limit , time span for the course is 5 years

Yes,ofcourse you are eligible as upper age limit has been removed by Bar Council.
As per eligibility criteria,you should be class 12 passout.
