The Consortium of National Law Universities will publish the NLSIU Bengaluru merit list 2025 on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The NLSIU Bangalore 2025 merit list is released at the start of each round of CLAT 2025 counselling. The merit list of NLSIU Bengaluru contains details such as All India rank, admit card number, horizontal reservations, and admission status. Additionally, the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru will also publish the NLSIU Bengaluru merit list 2025 for institute-level counselling rounds for any vacant seats after completion of the centralised CLAT 2025 counselling process conducted by the consortium. NLSIU Bengaluru is the top-ranked law school in the NIRF law rankings 2024. The prevailing view is that CLAT is tough, and getting a place on the merit list of NLSIU Bengaluru is not easy. Candidates who are included in the NLSIU Bengaluru merit list 2025 are required to complete the admission formalities such as payment of the confirmation fee and university admission fee. The consortium will conduct CLAT 2025 counselling in five rounds. CLAT 2025 is scheduled to be conducted on December 1, 2024. The scores in the Common Law Admission Test are accepted by 24 NLUs and 60+ affiliated colleges participating in the exam for admission into 5-year LLB and LLM programmes.

What After Publication of NLSIU Bengaluru Merit List 2025?
The merit list of NLSIU Bengaluru is provisional. Candidates are required to complete certain formalities to gain CLAT 2025 seat allotment. The admission process is given below:
Candidates are first required to select one of three options - freeze/float/exit through their login.
Candidates who choose the freeze or float option are required to pay a confirmation fee of Rs 20000 which will be adjusted against the university fees.
Candidates who want to exit the counselling process can choose the exit option.
The candidates who are allotted the seat are required to visit the university for document verification and payment of the balance university fee.

For taking admission in NLSIU Bangalore, you must have passed 10+2 exams in the first attempt with at least 50% for general category and for SC ST it is 45% . You must have filled the online application form for CLAT examination and should score the highest rank in that examination in order to get the mentioned NLU as it is one of the topmost NLU's.

NLSIU and NUALS are government colleges and come under the category of NLU's or what we say as national law schools which are operated directly by government of India .
Among all the 22 NLU's of India , NLSIU Bangalore ranks as the number one law school offering prestigious education and high placements . NUALS ranks 11th among the NLU's .
The point to be noted is that during placements , the top 10 NLU's are given preferences over other government law colleges . The reason being their best quality of education offered , best faculty available , good infrastructure etc . Therefore the packages of such law schools is at a higher end as compared to packages offered to students from other government colleges .

Hello aspirant,
According to statistics, every year between 30 and 40 percent of CLAT candidates have a commerce background. So i would also suggest you to take commerce stream.
Along with this i would suggest you to focus on legal aptitude section from starting as you can get a decent score in clat by improving your legal aptitude section.
