PU BA LLB Reservation Policy 2024
Given below is the reservation of seats as per the reservation policy followed by the university. Candidates applying under the reservation quota should ensure they meet the PU BA LLB eligibility criteria 2024 for that quota before seeking admission.
PU BA LLB Reservation Policy 2024 -
50% of the seats in each course shall be considered as belonging to the General Category.
50% seats shall be considered as belonging to the Reserved Category, as per details given below:
(i) 15% for candidates from the Scheduled Castes category
(ii) 7.5% for candidates from the Scheduled Tribes category
(iii) 5% for candidates belonging to the Backward Classes category
(iv) 3.5% for candidates belonging to NRI Category (as per the decision of the Syndicate vide Para 3 dated 11-05-2019)
Any vacant seats will be awarded to candidates from the general category

PU BA LLB 2024 Eligibility Criteria - Important Points
Given below are a few other points regarding the eligibility criteria for PU BA LLB 2024:
The admission of a candidate is provisional and stands to be cancelled if the candidate fails to meet the laid down eligibility criteria at the time of admission.
A candidate who has passed/appeared in 10+2 Examination of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad is not eligible to appear in the PU BA LLB 2024, as this institution has been de-recognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh
Clearing the PU BA LLB 2024 entrance exam does not automatically entitle the candidate to get admission at the university. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they meet the stipulated PU BA LLB eligibility criteria 2024

PU BA LLB Application Form 2024
Punjab University released the PU BA LLB application form on its official website - uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Candidates who meet the PU BA LLB 2024 eligibility criteria must submit the application form and pay the required application fee to appear for the exam. Candidates will be required to first register with their email id and mobile number to create a user id and then login to fill the application form. The candidate will be required to fill information related to personal details, academics and communication details, in addition to uploading documents, photograph and signature. One must also pay the required application fee in order to complete the application form of PU BA LLB 2024.

Hello Aashish,
Speaking strictly in terms of the entrance exam, if you score remains in the 50s range, then there are slim chances of you getting a seat. Judging by the cut off trends of previous years, it might be difficult for you to secure a seat for yourself in any category. However, it is not completely impossible as it ultimately depends upon the paper and exam pattern. You also have a good 10+2 percentage backing you up. There are chances that you may score well in the logical section due to your PCM background.

The PU counselling for law courses is just a process where, based on the final merit list, the students are first grouped and then called to campus with essential documents. There is no such interview/PI or GD round. These seats are allotted based on their merit in the entrance exam along with the preferences entered.
At the time of enrollment, precedence will be given to applicants who received higher grades than the other candidates. Following PU BA LLB counselling in 2022, the institution provides the admission list of applicants. The admission list will be made available individually for each category. In addition, the admission list will be published in stages according to the number of open seats in each round for all candidate categories.
The university will occupy the remaining spots after completing the counselling procedure. When it comes time to fill the open seats, applicants who had actually participated in the counselling process and were assigned a waiting list will be taken into consideration. The candidates will need to show up at the location on the designated day in order to fill the open seats. Candidates won't be admitted to PU BALLB 2022 if they don't arrive on campus before the deadline.
Candidates are asked to submit the original (or duplicate) copies of the following documents in the counselling rounds:
- Marksheets of 10th and 12th qualifying degrees (Original)
- Birth Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Gap Year Affidavit (If applicable)
- Reserve Category certificates (If applicable)
- Graduation certificate issued by the Sports Department of Panjab University if applying under Sports Reservation
- Copy of candidate’s ID/address proof (Driving License/Voter Card/Aadhar Card etc.)
- Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh

AILET, CLAT, LSAT and other BA LLB colleges have announced the exam schedule for BA LLB Admission 2022. AILET and CLAT 2022 exam date is 1st May 2022; the registrations for both of the exams has began from the 1st week of January 2022.
