National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CUET BA LLB 2025 application form tentatively in February 2025. Candidates can visit the official website to complete CUET BA LLB 2025 registration. NTA will conduct CUET BA LLB 2025 tentatively in May 2025 in online mode. CUET BA LLB 2025 will be held in around 380 cities including 26 cities outside India. Through the Common University Entrance Test, candidates will be admitted into 5-year LLB programmes such as BA LLB, B.Com LLB and BBA LLB of participating central, state and private universities.

The CUET BA LLB 2025 syllabus tests the candidates on three sections namely language, domain-specific subject (legal studies), and a general test section on GK, current affairs, numerical and reasoning ability. This year the authorities will conduct the CUET UG examinations in hybrid mode as a computer based test as well as in pen and paper format. NTA prescribes the CUET BA LLB 2025 eligibility criteria on its official website. There is no age limit for appearing in the CUET UG examinations. However, it prescribes a minimum education qualification for candidates. A candidate must have cleared 10+2 or its equivalent examination to appear for CUET BA LLB 2025. Candidates appearing for their class 12 exams are also eligible to apply. Candidates must also check the eligibility criteria of individual CUET BA LLB 2025 colleges to which they wish to apply before seeking admission. They must note that merely appearing for the CUET BA LLB 2025 will not guarantee admission and they need to fulfil the eligibility criteria of individual institutes.

There are three sections in the CUET BA LLB 2025 syllabus namely language, domain-specific subject, and general test. While the topics for the domain-specific section are different for each exam, the other two sections have common topics. The domain-specific subject for CUET BA LLB 2025 is legal studies. NTA prescribes the CUET BA LLB 2025 exam pattern. Candidates are allowed to choose up to 10 subjects for the CUET UG entrance examination. The exam format is in the form of multiple choice questions with negative marking for incorrect answers.
As outlined in the syllabus, the CUET UG Law exam will have three sections. Let’s look at some of the important points regarding the CUET BA LLB 2025 exam pattern.
There will be 13 language options in section 1A and 20 language options in section 1B. Candidates can choose any language from the available options and they will have to attempt 40 out of 50 questions
Section 2 in CUET BA LLB 2025 is the domain specific subject of legal studies. This section will have 50 questions and candidates have to attempt 40 questions
The third section of CUET BA LLB 2025 is the General test. It will test the candidates on general awareness, reasoning and mathematical skills. This section will contain 60 questions out of which 50 need to be attempted.

NTA will issue the CUET BA LLB 2025 admit card tentatively 2-3 days before the exam. The CUET UG admit card is issued in a phased manner as the exams for different subjects take place in a larger window. Candidates can download the admit card online from the official website. The CUET BA LLB 2025 admit card contains details regarding exam date, timings, reporting time, exam centre name and address and exam instructions.
The admit card of CUET BA LLB 2025 is a mandatory document to be carried for the exam. Therefore candidates are advised to take a printout of the same and carry it to the exam hall. In case of any mismatch in the particulars of the admit card, candidates must get in touch with the authorities to make necessary corrections.
NTA will release the CUET BA LLB 2025 answer key on its official website. The answer key will enable candidates to ascertain their actual marks in the exam by comparing their answers with the key. After releasing the provisional answer key of CUET BA LLB 2025, it will open the objection window. Candidates will be able to submit the objections online. After considering the valid objections, the authorities will publish the CUET BA LLB 2025 final answer key.
NTA will declare the CUET BA LLB 2025 result in online mode soon. The result will not be available offline and candidates are required to login with their credentials on the exam portal to access their scorecards. The CUET BA LLB 2025 scorecard will carry details such as roll no. of the candidate, application no, total marks obtained by the candidates, and subject wise marks.
Candidates with a valid score in CUET BA LLB 2025 will be able to apply to the participating colleges. It is important to note that NTA doesn’t publish the merit list or conduct counselling for law admissions. Instead, candidates have to separately apply to individual colleges which accept CUET BA LLB scores.
