Panjab University has notified the PU BA LLB 2025 counselling schedule on the official website - uglaw.puchd.ac.in. The PU BA LLB tentative merit list will be published on June 25. After considering valid objections, the PU BA LLB provisional merit list will be published on July 3. Only those candidates who score above the minimum passing marks in PU BA LLB 2025 are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The PU BA LLB counselling 2025 will be held in multiple rounds for admission into the BA LLB and B.Com LLB programmes of the university. The PU BA LLB 2025 participating colleges will conduct the PU BA LLB counselling 2025 process separately. The PU BA PU BA LLB 2025 admission form window is open between May 22 till June 5, 2025. The merit list of PU BA LLB 2025 will be prepared based on scores in the PU BA LLB entrance exam 2025. Once confirmed, the candidates must submit the course fee as per the instructions. It must be noted that candidates are also allowed to file objections against the tentative merit list till a specified period before the final merit list is published. Earlier, Panjab University conducted the PU BA LLB 2025 entrance exam on April 27, 2025 and declared the PU BA LLB 2025 result on May 15, 2025.

Panjab University opened the PU BA LLB 2025 admission form window from May 22 to June 5, 2025. The admission form is available online on the official website through the candidate login. Aspirants qualifying the PU BA LLB entrance exam 2025 must fill out the admission form and submit it as per the given instructions in the form. After the submission of the form, no request for changes will be entertained.

The counselling process for Panjab University UG law 2025 is given below:
After the declaration of the PU UG law result 2025, candidates who score more than the minimum marks are placed in the preliminary merit list.
Candidates whose name is placed in the preliminary merit list of PU BA LLB 2025 have to fill in the admission form.
Next, the candidates who complete and submit the online admission form on time are considered for admission
The university prepares a merit list based on the scores in the PU BA LLB 2025 and also marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying exam.
Panjab University will first release the PU BA LLB 2025 tentative merit list and invite objections.
After considering the objection, the university will prepare the PU BA LLB 2025 provisional merit list.
Each of the participating colleges will then release the PU BA LLB counselling 2025 schedule.
Candidates are grouped rank-wise and are called for physical reporting for admission. Each group is called on different dates.

Panjab University does seat allotment based on the following criteria:

At the end of the counselling process, the university will fill the vacant seats (if any). Candidates who participated in the counselling process and were included in the waiting list will be considered at the time of filling the vacant seats. While filling the vacant seats, the candidates must report to the venue on the specified date. Candidates failing to report to the venue on the given date will not be offered admission.

Speaking strictly in terms of the entrance exam, if you score remains in the 50s range, then there are slim chances of you getting a seat. Judging by the cut off trends of previous years, it might be difficult for you to secure a seat for yourself in any category. However, it is not completely impossible as it ultimately depends upon the paper and exam pattern. You also have a good 10+2 percentage backing you up. There are chances that you may score well in the logical section due to your PCM background.
