Questions related to PU BA LLB Entrance

Have a question related to PU BA LLB Entrance ?

I got 96%..in +2 and nearly 30

.in entrance total without half..did i get admission in PU ba LLB

Hello Aashish,

Speaking strictly in terms of the entrance exam, if you score remains in the 50s range, then there are slim chances of you getting a seat. Judging by the cut off trends of previous years, it might be difficult for you to secure a seat for yourself in any category. However, it is not completely impossible as it ultimately depends upon the paper and exam pattern. You also have a good 10+2 percentage backing you up. There are chances that you may score well in the logical section due to your PCM background.

You can go through this link to study the cut off patterns for last year across various courses under 5 year law.

Best of luck! Fingers Crossed!

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. According to past year cut offs, you could be eligible for admission to Bachelor of Commerce integrated with LLB with your rank of 398 at University Institute Of Legal Studies, Chandigarh Center.

All the best!

Hello Savi,

The PU counselling for law courses is just a process where, based on the final merit list, the students are first grouped and then called to campus with essential documents. There is no such interview/PI or GD round. These seats are allotted based on their merit in the entrance exam along with the preferences entered.

At the time of enrollment, precedence will be given to applicants who received higher grades than the other candidates. Following PU BA LLB counselling in 2022, the institution provides the admission list of applicants. The admission list will be made available individually for each category. In addition, the admission list will be published in stages according to the number of open seats in each round for all candidate categories.

The university will occupy the remaining spots after completing the counselling procedure. When it comes time to fill the open seats, applicants who had actually participated in the counselling process and were assigned a waiting list will be taken into consideration. The candidates will need to show up at the location on the designated day in order to fill the open seats. Candidates won't be admitted to PU BALLB 2022 if they don't arrive on campus before the deadline.

Candidates are asked to submit the original (or duplicate) copies of the following documents in the counselling rounds:

  • Marksheets of 10th and 12th qualifying degrees (Original)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Gap Year Affidavit (If applicable)
  • Reserve Category certificates (If applicable)
  • Graduation certificate issued by the Sports Department of Panjab University if applying under Sports Reservation
  • Copy of candidate’s ID/address proof (Driving License/Voter Card/Aadhar Card etc.)
  • Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh

You can check out this link to read up more about the counselling process.
