PU BA LLB Counselling 2026: Dates, Admission Process, Documents Required
Panjab University will commence the PU BA LLB 2026 counselling in the second week of July 2026. Candidates will have to report to the respective PU BA LLB participating colleges as per their ranks in the provisional merit list on the day of PU BA LLB 2026 counselling. The PU BA LLB counselling 2026 for all participating colleges will be held separately. The detailed PU BA LLB 2026 counselling schedule will be released on the official website. Candidates who want to take admission to B.A/B.Com LL.B (Hons) at UILS Chandigarh, PURC Ludhiana and PUSSGRC Hoshiarpur will be required to go through the detailed schedule. Candidates whose names appear in the provisional merit list 2026 need to appear in the PU BA LLB 2026 counselling to confirm their seats. Only those candidates who score above the minimum passing marks in the PU BA LLB entrance exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The PU BA LLB counselling 2026 will be held in three rounds for admission into the BA LLB and B.Com LLB programmes of the university.

PU BA LLB Admission Form 2026
The admission form will be available online on the official website through the candidate's login. Aspirants qualifying the PU BA LLB entrance exam 2026 could fill out the admission form and submit it as per the given instructions in the form. After the submission of the form, no request for changes will be entertained.

PU BA LLB 2026 Counselling Process
The counselling process for Panjab University UG law 2026 is given below:
After the declaration of the PU UG law result 2026, candidates who score more than the minimum marks are placed in the preliminary merit list.
Candidates whose name is placed in the preliminary merit list of PU BA LLB 2026 have to fill in the admission form.
Next, the candidates who complete and submit the online admission form on time are considered for admission
The university prepares a merit list based on the scores in the PU BA LLB 2026 and also marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying exam.
Panjab University will first release the PU BA LLB 2026 tentative merit list and invite objections.
After considering the objection, the university will prepare the PU BA LLB 2026 provisional merit list.
Each of the participating colleges will then release the PU BA LLB counselling 2026 schedule.
Candidates are grouped rank-wise and are called for physical reporting for admission. Each group is called on different dates.

Filling of Vacant Seats for PU BA LLB Counselling 2026
At the end of the counselling process, the university will fill the vacant seats (if any).
