Speaking about the seats for computer science or data science in this university, as of now it is 730 to be exact. Since VIT is a college catering primarily to B. Tech students, this pushes MSC Data Science at very end of heirarcy of getting jobs. Say if 100 companies come in campus, only 7-8 would be allowing MSC DS and 1-2 would be selecting. The salaries in my batch ranged from 2-6 lpa with only 1 person placed in 10+ LPA.
