Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai (VIT) has opened applications for its law programmes for the 2025-26 academic year. Candidates must fulfill the specified eligibility criteria for their chosen VIT Chennai courses to secure admission. Eligible applicants can apply for VIT Chennai through online mode by paying an application fee of Rs 1,200. The extended deadline for applications is April 7, 2025.

Canddiates should have an ggregate of 70% in class 12 /HSC [60% for SC/ST Candidates and candidates from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura]. Canddiates must also have valid CLAT / VITLEE scores. Moreover, students who have taken their 12th board examinations and are awaiting results can also apply provided they produce their passing certificate on the day of admissions.
VIT Chennai Admission is through merit and is based on the mentioned qualifying examination. The applicants will then be asked for a personal interview in the hybrid mode. A rank list will be prepared based on +2/HSC marks, relevant CLAT / VITLEE scores, group discussions, and personal interviews to secure Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai admissions.
