In the list of best law colleges in Uttar Pradesh is a mix of some top private as well government law colleges. These colleges offer integrated law courses, 3-year LLB, LLM and PhD programmes. Aspirants have to appear for law entrance exams. However, there are some law colleges without entrance exams as well.
Candidates must have completed class 12 or equivalent to gain admission into 5-year LLB. Graduates in any stream are eligible for admission into 3-year LLB. While, law graduates are eligible for admission into LLM programmes.

CLAT: The Common Law Admission Test conducted by the Consortium of NLUs is accepted by NLUs such as RMLNLU Lucknow, and RPNLU Prayagraj.
LSAT—India: Conducted by Pearson Vue, the Law School Admission Test—India is a popular law entrance exam for admission into top private law colleges.
CUET Law: The National Testing Agency conducts the Common University Entrance Test Law for admission into UG and PG law programmes of participating central, state and private universities.
SLAT and SLS AIAT: The Symbiosis Law Admission Test and the SLS All India Admission Test is conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University for admission into its law schools
