TS LAWCET 2024: Telangana Council for Higher Education (TGCHE) has published the TS LAWCET 2024 spot round counselling registrations schedule for private unaided law colleges on October 17, 2024. Earlier, the authorities have completed the TS LAWCET 2024 second and final phase counselling. TGCHE declared the TS LAWCET 2024 result on June 13, 2024. It has also declared the names of TS LAWCET 2024 toppers along with the results. Osmania University had earlier conducted the TS LAWCET 2024 on June 3, 2024, on behalf of TSCHE in online mode.

Earlier, TSHCE had closed the objection window against the TS LAWCET 2024 answer key on June 7 after publishing the provisional answer key a day earlier. The TS LAWCET 2024 application form 2024 with a late fee of Rs 4000 was closed on May 25, 2024. The TS LAWCET question paper has 120 questions on subjects such as legal aptitude, logical reasoning, general knowledge and current affairs. TS LAWCET 2024 is conducted for admissions into 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes of participating colleges in the state of Telangana.
What is TS LAWCET?
The TS LAWCET is conducted to admit students into 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses of participating colleges in Telangana. TS LAWCET 2024 will be conducted in online mode at designated test centres. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be invited to participate in a centralised TS LAWCET 2024 counselling process in which over 30 law colleges will participate.

TS LAWCET 2024 application window without late fee Extended
The TS LAWCET application window was open for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. The last date to fill TS LAWCET application form 2024 without late fee had been extended till May 4, 2024. Students could still fill the application form after May 4, 2024 as well. However, they needed to pay a late fee to apply for the exam. The last date to apply with a late fee was May 25, 2024.

Before applying for TS LAWCET 2024, candidates must make sure they fulfil the TS LAWCET 2024 eligibility criteria. The authorities prescribe different eligibility criteria for TS LAWCET 2024 for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes. Candidates who have passed 10+2 can apply for 5-year LLB courses, whereas graduates from any stream can apply for 3-year LLB. It must be noted that candidates who are appearing in the class 12 exams or final year graduation exams are also eligible to apply. However, they must submit their qualifying certificates at the time of admission. The eligibility criteria are given below.
TS LAWCET 5-Year LLB Eligibility Criteria 2024
Education qualification: Candidate must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board or institute.
Minimum marks in qualifying exam: General category candidates must have secured at least 45% in the qualifying exam. Whereas OBC and SC/ST candidates must have secured at least 42% and 40% respectively.
TS LAWCET 3-year LLB Eligibility Criteria 2024
Education qualification: Candidate must have complete graduation in any stream, from a recognized university.
Minimum marks in qualifying exam: General category candidates are required to secure at least 45% aggregate marks in graduation. OBC and SC/ST candidates must secure at least 42% and 40%, respectively.
Age limit for appearing in TS LAWCET 2024: As per the rules of Bar Council of India, there is no age limit for pursuing LLB courses. So there are no age restrictions for appearing in TS LAWCET as well.

TSCHE jas closed the tS LAWCET 2024 application window. Earlier, it opened the TS LAWCET 2024 application form on March 1, 2024, in online mode. The TS LAWCET application form 2024 was released on the official website - lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in. Eligible candidates could register for TS LAWCET 2024 by filling up the details, uploading the required documents and paying the stipulated application fee. The TS LAWCET 2024 application could be submitted by May 4, 2024, without a late fee. The last date to fill out the TS LAWCET 2024 application form with a late fee of Rs 4,000 was May 25, 2024.

TS LAWCET Syllabus 2024
Candidates desirous of appearing for TS LAWCET 2024 should necessarily go through the TS LAWCET 2024 syllabus. The syllabus of TS LAWCET 2024 tests candidates on three sections namely General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Study of Law.
The authorities prescribe the same TS LAWCET syllabus 2024 for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB. However, the difference exists in the difficulty level of the two exams.

The TS LAWCET 2024 will be administered in online mode at over 60 exam centres spread in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The TS LAWCET 2024 exam pattern consists of multiple-choice questions that tests the candidates in three sections. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Given below are a few preparation tips for the TS LAWCET 2024 exam.
Plan Well: Create a study schedule well in advance to apportion time appropriately for each of the sections. This will result in a more systematic preparation and also ensure there is enough time left for revision in the end.
Solve Mock Tests: Practise with as many mock tests as possible. This would build comfort with the exam pattern, provide an accurate assessment of one’s preparation level and improve speed.
General Reading Habit: Candidates must develop a general reading habit by reading newspapers and magazines on law. This would help them stay up to date with current events and also prepare well for the exam.

TSCHE has published the TS LAWCET 2024 answer key on June 6, 2024 on its official website. Candidates can submit the objections against the answer key till June 7, 2024 up to 5 pm. Based on the objections, the authorities would then publish the final answer key of TS LAWCET 2024. The result of TS LAWCET 2024 would be based on the revised TS LAWCET answer key 2024.

Qualifying Marks in TS LAWCET 2024
Only those candidates who score more than the qualifying marks in TS LAWCET 2024 will be considered for ranking and the counselling and seat allotment process. The qualifying marks in TS LAWCET 2024 for the general and OBC category is 35%. There is no qualifying marks for SC and ST categories.
TS LAWCET Cutoff 2024
The TS LAWCET 2024 cut off is the minimum marks or ranks candidates need to secure to get admission in the participating law colleges and universities. Many factors will affect the TS LAWCET 2024 cutoff such as the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of applicants, seats available in participating colleges etc. The cut off of TS LAWCET 2024 has not been released yet.
TSCHE would publish the TS LAWCET 2024 cut off after publication of TS LAWCET seat allotment. Candidates would be able to access the TS LAWCET cut off on the official website. The cut-off for TS LAWCET 2024 will be published for each round of counselling. It must be noted that the authorities would publish the cut off for each of the courses separately and for each individual college. TSCHE would publish the category-wise cut-off for TS LAWCET 2024 separately for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB for each of the participating colleges.
However, students can check the previous year's cutoffs of TS LAWCET to get an idea about how much marks they need to score to get admission to the participating colleges.

TS LAWCET Counselling 2024
TSCHE is conducting TS LAWCET 2024 counselling in online mode. The TS LAWCET 2024 seat allotment for the second phase has been published on October 3, 2024. Candidates can check the respective allotted college on the official website. Earlier, the authorities started the TS LAWCET 2024 web options editing for the second phase of counselling on September 25, 2024. TGCHE opened the TS LAWCET web option filling for the second round from September 23-24, 2024. TGHE had published the first TS LAWCET first allotment on September 2, 2024. There are around 4,790 seats in TS LAWCET 2024 3-year LLB and around 2,160 seats in TS LAWCET 2024 5-year LLB. The authorities would perform seat allotment based on the candidate’s ranks in the exam and the preferences filled by them.
Documents required for TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling
Candidates will be required to submit the following documents during the TS LAWCET counselling 2024:
- TS LAWCET Rank Card 2024
- School leaving certificate
- Marksheets of class 10 and 12
- Graduation certificate in case of 3-year LLB applicants

You are on a border line which is very close to last years cutoff at kalatiya university college of law and Mahatma Gandhi law college belonging to bc-e category you might get seat here if cutoff trends is same as last year but definitely you are not going to get osmania university and telangana university college of law because these colleges cutoff are always high.
