CUET BA LLB Eligibility Criteria 2026

National Testing Agency prescribes the CUET BA LLB 2026 eligibility criteria on its official website. There is no age limit for appearing in the CUET UG examinations. However, it prescribes a minimum education qualification for candidates. A candidate must have cleared 10+2 or its equivalent examination to appear for CUET BA LLB 2026. Candidates appearing for their Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply. Candidates must also check the eligibility criteria of individual CUET BA LLB 2026 colleges to which they wish to apply before seeking admission. They must note that merely appearing for the CUET BA LLB 2026 will not guarantee admission and they need to fulfil the eligibility criteria of individual institutes.

NTA will open the CUET BA LLB 2026 application form tentatively in the first week of March 2026. The application form of CUET BA LLB 2026 will be released in online mode. While filling up the application form, candidates must select the CUET BA LLB subject combinations that are accepted by the university in which they wish to seek admission. CUET BA LLB Syllabus 2026 (Revised Syllabus)

The CUET legal studies subject has been removed from the CUET BA LLB 2026 syllabus. A general aptitude test has been added in place of legal studies. Candidates who are appearing in CUET UG for a 5-year LLB will now have to choose the general aptitude test as their subject. The new CUET BA LLB syllabus is given below.

2. General mental ability, numerical ability
3. Reasoning - Simple application of basic mathematical concepts quantitative arithmetic, algebra geometry, mensuration, statistics

CUET BA LLB Exam Pattern 2026

NTA prescribes the CUET BA LLB 2026 exam pattern. The exam format is in the form of multiple-choice questions with negative marking for incorrect answers. As outlined in the syllabus, the CUET UG Law exam will have two sections. Let’s look at some of the important points regarding the CUET BA LLB 2026 exam pattern.

1. There will be language options in section with 13 language options. Candidates can choose any language from the available options. However, they must make sure the language they choose is accepted by the university to which they wish to apply.

CUET BA LLB Admit Card 2026

NTA will issue the CUET BA LLB 2026 admit card tentatively a week before the exam. The CUET BA LLB admit card is issued in a phased manner as the exams for different subjects take place in a larger window. Candidates can download the admit card online from the official website. The CUET BA LLB 2026 admit card contains details regarding exam date, timings, reporting time, exam centre name and address and exam instructions.

The admit card of CUET BA LLB 2026 is a mandatory document to be carried for the exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to take a printout of the same and carry it to the exam hall. In case of any mismatch in the particulars of the admit card, candidates must get in touch with the authorities to make necessary corrections.

CUET BA LLB Answer Key 2026

NTA will release the CUET BA LLB 2026 answer key tentatively a month after the exam. The answer key of CUET BA LLB 2026 will be available in online mode on the official website. The answer key will enable candidates to ascertain their actual marks in the exam by comparing their answers with the key. Candidates also get the opportunity to raise objections against the published CUET BA LLB provisional answer key 2026. Candidates can submit the objections online. However, they must do so within the stipulated time window.

CUET BA LLB Result 2026

NTA will declare the CUET BA LLB 2026 result in online mode. The result will not be available offline, and candidates are required to login with their credentials on the exam portal to access their scorecards. The CUET BA LLB 2026 score card will carry details such as roll no. of the candidate, application no, total marks obtained by the candidates, and subject wise marks.

Candidates with a valid score in CUET BA LLB 2026 will be able to apply to the participating colleges. It is important to note that NTA doesn’t publish the merit list or conduct counselling for law admissions.
