Every candidate appearing for the JMI BA LLB must complete the higher-secondary education from a recognised board or a university.
However, a candidate who is yet to complete their higher-secondary education is also allowed to appear for the examination. Further, the person should secure 50% aggregate marks in the intermediate course.
Moreover, to be appropriately eligible for this exam, an individual must score a minimum of 60% marks that 6.75/10 as that of the grading system. As mentioned above, if a participant is appearing or has yet to qualify for the intermediate course, they can still apply for the application of the exam.

JMI BA LLB Eligibility Criteria for Reserved Categories:
At Jamia Millia Islamia, a minority institution whose status is protected by Article 29 of the Indian Constitution, there is a sizable reserve. Roughly 50% of the seats have been reserved. The JMI BA LLB entrance exam tests your aptitude based on analytical, critical and logical reasoning. The JMI BA LLB pattern of questions is Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) wherein four options are provided out of which one is to be chosen correctly. Thereafter, you will be negatively marked if answer incorrectly that is 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The duration of this examination is 2 hours and the mode of examination is offline that is pen and paper examination. The paper is of 150 marks, with one question carrying 1 mark each. The language of the examination is English. The subjects or sections in this exam are a total of five namely English Comprehension, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, General Studies, and Elementary Mathematics.

The exam is given in an online setting. The exam lasts for two hours overall and has objective-type questions. General English, Reasoning, and Awareness of the World questions are included.

The Minimum Academic Qualifications for the (B.Ed) entrance exam at Jamia Millia Islamia necessary are as follows:
Bachelor's Degree in school teaching subject with not less than 45% marks and at least 50% marks in Master's Degree Examination in the same school teaching subject in which the candidate has applied.
OR
Bachelor's Degree in school teaching subject with not less than 50% marks.
The main school teaching subject in which the candidate is applying for should have been studied in all years or semesters.
Unfortunately, you cannot apply for B.Ed for history or political science in JMI but you can apply for B.Ed in Mathematics and Economics.
