Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), a deemed to be university, is conducting the NMIMS Law Aptitude Test 2024 (NMIMS-LAT 2024) in two phases. The exam is being conducted in multiple slots in online mode for law admissions into its seven campuses in India. The NMIMS-LAT 2024 application for the second phase was closed on May 20, 2024.
The NMIMS LAT phase 2 registrations began on March 11, 2024. The NMIMS LAT phase 2 exam will be conducted from March 16, 2024, to May 25, 2024. The NMIMS LAT merit list 2024 will be released on June 13, 2024. Aspirants must fill the application for the NMIMS law exam online and schedule their exam at their preferred available slot. The list of programmes offered by NMIMS KPMSOL through NMIMS-LAT include BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), and one-year LLM.
NMIMS-LAT is the NMIMS entrance exam for law. Through this test,the institute admits students into the 5-year integrated BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes, at its various campuses of the NIMIMS School of Law located at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Chandigarh and Dhule. It must be noted that the BA LLB programme is not available at the Dhule campus.
The institute will also admit students into LLM programme through the NLAT 2024. The one year LLM is available only at the Mumbai campus.
NMIMS-LAT 2024 will be conducted in online mode in multiple slots at designated test centres across India. Before applying, candidates must make sure they fulfil the NMIMS LAT eligibility criteria. The NMIMS law entrance exam 2024 will test the candidates’ ability in five areas namely verbal reasoning, general knowledge, quantitative reasoning, logical reasoning and legal reasoning. There will be a total of 150 multiple choice questions.
Law aspirants must also note that, other than the NMIMS law entrance exam, NMIMS also conducts law admissions through CLAT 2024. Therefore, aspiring candidates who appeared for CLAT 2024 can also apply for admission into NMIMS. The Consortim of NLUs conducted CLAT 2024 for admission into UG and PG law programmes of participating NLUs on December 3, 2023.

NMIMS has opened the application form of NMIMS LAT 2024 in online mode. Candidates are required to visit the official website and complete registration and then pay the required fees. It must be noted that candidates appearing for their class 12 exams are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates must submit their qualifying certificates at the time of admission.
NIMIS School of Law also accepts CLAT 2024 scores. If candidates appeared for the CLAT exam, they need not appear for NLAT 2024.

NMIMS LAT 2024 consists of four sections on verbal reasoning, current affairs,legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative reasoning. There will be a total of 150 questions to be attempted in a duration of two hours. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The NLAT admit card 2024 is a mandatory document to appear for NMIMS-LAT 2024. Along with the admit card, candidates also carry with them a photo id proof on the day of the exam.
Slot booking is available only to paid candidates. Candidates who have successfully completed registration can schedule the NMIMS LAT exam date 2024 and venue.
However, whether the candidate gets the preferred slot depends on the capacity of the test centre. Therefore this facility is available on a first cum first basis.
