The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has released the second list of selected candidates for LLB and LLM admissions. Earlier, the institute released the LLB results 2026 on its official website. IIT Kharagpur LLB and LLM entrance exam 2026 was conducted on March 29, 2026. Through the exam, candidates will be admitted into the 3-year LLB programme offered at Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law. The university issued the IIT Kharagpur LLB and LLM entrance exam 2026 admit card on March 18, 2026. The institute opened its 2026 application portal for admission to its LLB and LLM programs on December 15, 2025. The deadline to apply was extended till February 27, 2026.

IIT Kharagpur declared the result of the LLB exam in online mode. The institute uploaded the IIT Kharagpur LLB 2026 merit list with the names of the selected candidates along with their roll numbers on its official website. There is no interview round. Final selection is done based on the marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test. The selected candidates will be informed by email by the institute. Such candidates must then complete the admission formalities.
