Ans: A well-furnished Moot Court Hall with modern amenities. Moot Court hall involves a real courtroom setting at the campus with all the necessary etiquettes and modalities to be followed. Students are trained periodically here to appear for competitions.

Q. A library is a very important feature of any campus. Please throw light on the library and its amenities at MLS. What can students expect?

Ans: The law library is equipped with prominent law books, journals, and online databases such as SCC Online, Westlaw, HeinOnline, Manupatra, etc., E-journals and publications are the highlights of MLS Library. New advanced level books by versatile authors is yet another highlight.

Q. No campus is complete with a cafeteria. What is the cafeteria like at MLS and how does it add value to the students’ lives?

Ans: A well-designed lounge with a cafeteria offering ambient surroundings adds to the social life at the campus. Small cafeterias with all the departments are envisaged with full fledged breakfast, lunch and snacks available throughout the working hours. A state of art drive in the food court involving wide varieties of cuisines Indian, continental , Italian and many more is the highlight of Manipal Campus at Bengaluru.

Q. Please elaborate on the hostels and facilities at the campus.

Ans: Separate hostel facility for boys and girls are provided here. Accomodation ranges from three- seater to single seaters as well within the campus. Medical services and Legal Services is as well provided.Sports facilities is yet another highlight of the institution envisaged for the proper mental and physical social development of the individual.

Ans: 24X7 medical service is provided at the campus through a clinic with a Doctor and Nurse, is constituted at the entrance near to the gate for anybody in help .Ambulance services are also kept ready to meet the emergencies.

Q. Physical activities and clubs are other features most students look for in a campus. Please elaborate on these.

Ans: Sports activities are highly regular at the campus for studenst and teaching and non teaching staff. Students led clubs and committees under the leadership of excellent faculty like debate club, moot court committee etc., to name a few.

Q. Safety is a primary concern for most students at any campus. What are the measures taken by the university at the MLS campus?

Ans: 24x7 security services at the Campus as well as the hostel is ensured. CCTV cameras are installed at all the conspicuous places. Regular sharing of updates with parents happens. Appropriate complaint mechanisms are also envisaged. An excellent mentor-mentee system exists at the campus which makes sure that students are always safe and secured.

Q. Transportation and connectivity are other things that also matter when a student joins any institute. Can you please throw some light on these factors?

Ans: Buses both for the longer routes and shorter ones are strategically planned that runs across the city ensuring accessibility to the campus. Uber and Ola bookings are as well possible from the campus for personal purposes.
