Calcutta University prescribes the CULET 2025 eligibility criteria 2025 on its official website through its official admission notification. Candidates who have completed their class 12 are eligible to apply for the Calcutta University BA LLB entrance exam. Given below are the requirements mentioned under the CULET 2025 eligibility criteria. The requirements pertain to the minimum educational qualification, minimum passing marks and age limit if any.

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent from the board recognized by the University of Calcutta

• General category candidates must obtain a minimum of 45% marks in the best four subjects. (excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE). SC/ST category candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in the best four subjects. (excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE).

• Candidates from boards other than WBCHSE, ISC, CBSE, Rabindra Mukto Vidyalaya and NIOS must obtain “Equivalence Certificate” from the office of the Registrar, (Equivalence Section) University of Calcutta, 87/1, College Street, Kolkata-700073 by a written application in plain paper with a relevant photocopy of a 10+2 Mark Sheet. Certificate will be required at the time of admission.

• No age limit is prescribed.

The Calcutta University BA LLB 2025 application form will tentatively open in the third week of July 2025. Candidates can submit the CULET 2025 application form from the official website - caluniv.ac.in /caluniv-ucsta.net before the prescribed deadline. • Log on to caluniv.ac.in and click on the "BA LLB Admission Notice 2025-26" link.
• Click on the "Click here to apply" button and next click on the "new applicant" link.
• Candidates will be directed to the registration form where they must fill all required details like name, password, mobile number etc.
• Next, candidates must log in to the candidate portal using their mobile number and password.
• Fill in the detailed application form with the required personal, academic, and communication information.
• Candidates will also be required to pay the registration fee in their preferred mode of online payment.
• Click on "final submission" and take a copy of the application confirmation page for future reference.

It must be noted that the admit card of Calcutta University BA LLB 2025 is a mandatory document that every candidate needs to carry on the day of the exam. The CULET admit card 2025 comprises important details like the date and time of the exam, name of the exam center, detailed address of exam centre, etc. The admit card of CULET 2025 will be available for download at caluniv.ac.in through the candidate login portal.

Calcutta University will declare the CULET 2025 result tentatively one week after the exam. The Calcutta University BA LLB 2025 result will be declared in the form of a merit list. The CULET result 2025 comprises of the merit ranks of candidates, marks secured by them in the entrance exam, and other important details. Students will be called for further counselling process based on their CULET results. The CULET 2025 result can be accessed at caluniv.ac.in.

Calcutta University will notify the CULET 2025 counselling schedule on its official website. The Calcutta University BA LLB 2025 counselling will be conducted online in multiple rounds. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the merit list have to download the Calcutta University BA LLB 2025 admission slip to participate in the CU BA LLB 2025 counselling.
