Rajasthan University will publish the RULET 2026 cut off likely in the second week of July 2026 in online mode. Candidates can check the cutoff along with the merit list on the official website: admissions.univraj.org/ruletPanel. Factors that affect RULET 2026 Cutoff

The cutoff of Rajasthan University varies every year due to the following factors. The candidates need to know about it to have a target score in mind.

• Total number of seats offered by the university for undergraduate programmes

• Number of applicants in the law entrance examination

• Performance of the candidates

• The difficulty level of the entrance test

• Category-wise seat availability

Rajasthan University specifies the following eligibility criteria for the RULET entrance exam 2026.

For Domicile Applicants:

The candidates must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in the case of SC and ST category candidates).

For Candidates coming from Other States:

The candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks from a board recognised by Rajasthan University. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in the current year may also apply.

Rajasthan University has opened the RULET 2026 application form in online mode on April 23, 2026. The last date to register for the RULET 2026 exam is May 14, 2026. The RULET 2026 registration details include filling in the candidate's details, father's name, date of birth, and paying the RULET application fees. Candidates can fill out the application form for RULET 2026 by registering on the official website - rulet.univraj.org. The RULET 2026 application form fee is Rs. 2200 for all the candidates. 

Candidates will also be allowed to make corrections to the application form from May 15, 2026, till May 16, 2026. While filling out the application, candidates must provide genuine and verifiable information. Any candidate found falsifying information may be subject to disqualification.

The RULET 2026 application form filling process involves the following steps:

• Candidates must visit the official website - rulet.univraj.org
• Online registration - Candidates may register by using their email ID, contact information and other details such as educational qualification, communication details etc. 
• Uploading of documents
• Payment of application fee - The application fee is Rs. 2200, which is the same for all applicants. Candidates may submit the application using a credit card, debit card, or net banking facilities.
• Taking a printout of the completed application

The following scanned documents have to be uploaded:

• Photograph
• Signature
• Left-hand thumb impression for Male
• Right hand thumb impression for Female/Transgender

The university has released the RULET 2026 exam pattern with the official exam notification. RULET 2026 will be conducted for a duration of two hours. There will be 150 objective-type questions. Each correct question will carry two marks. And, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Apart from the admission test, a separate GD-PI will be conducted for 25 marks each. The RULET 2026 exam syllabus will be divided into five sections as mentioned below.

• English Language
• Legal Reasoning
• Current Affairs and General Knowledge
• Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning

Candidates should follow the preparation tips given below to prepare well for Rajasthan Univeristy LLB entrance exam 2026:

Improve reading skills - Candidates should focus on improving their reading speeds and for this, they should read newspapers, books, as well as blogs. 

Read best books - There are plenty of books by recommended authors that will help you learn important tips and tricks to score well in the exam as well as understand difficult concepts from the syllabus.

Practice mock tests - It is advised that to prepare and get an idea of the real-time exam, you should refer to the previous years' papers for RULET 2026 as well as there are plenty of mock tests available online that are similar to the law entrance exam. Practice the papers as much as possible to score well.

Revision notes - During the exam preparation it will not be possible for candidates to study all sections and therefore, it would be better if you make notes. It will be helpful for the GK section as well as the legal reasoning section.

The Rajasthan University will issue the RULET admit card 2026 in online mode from May 21, 2026 onwards. Candidates can download the admit card of RULET 2026 by using their login credentials. The RULET 2026 admit card will carry details such as name, roll number, application number of the candidate, exam centre name, address, reporting time, and exam day guidelines.

Steps to download the RULET Admit Card 2026

• Visit the official admission portal of RULET 2026.
• Click on the admit card link
• Log in using the user ID and password
• The admit card of RULET 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
• Download and take the printout for your reference.

Exam Day Instructions

Here are some important points that candidates should take care of on the test day: 

• Reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam time.
• Carry the admit card for RULET 2026 along with one valid photo ID proof
• Avoid taking study materials, a mobile phone, a calculator, a watch, or any technical device inside the examination hall
• Follow the instructions of the exam invigilators during the test 
• In case candidates face any difficulty regarding the exam facilities, reach out to your instructor; however, asking for answers from the question paper is not allowed.

Rajasthan University will publish the RULET 2026 provisional answer key on its official website on May 23, 2026. Candidates will be allowed to submit objections regarding the RULET answer key 2026 in offline mode on a prescribed form in person, along with supporting documents to the Co-ordinator of RU in hard copy. The objection-raising window is open from May 25, 2026, to May 26, 2026, during office hours from 9:00 to 2:00 pm. The final answer key of RULET 2026 will be released on May 31, 2026 after considering the valid objections against the provisional answer key. Candidates can use the answer key of RULET 2026 to cross-check their answers in the exam and get an idea of their scores. Candidates should follow the steps given below to download the RULET answer key: 

• Visit the official website of Rajasthan University. The link to the exam will appear at the bottom of the page for RULET 2026.

• Candidates will then get the link of the answer key for RULET 2026.

• The answer key with correct options for all the question paper sets will open up, and candidates can download the file to cross-check their responses.

• After cross-checking the answer key, candidates can report their objections (if any) to the university.

The RULET 2026 result for the written exam will be declared on May 31, 2026. The final result, including the marks for PI and GD rounds, will be declared later. Candidates can check their scorecards on the official website- admissions.univraj.org/uletPanel  by entering their roll number and date of birth. The RULET result 2026 includes details such as the section-wise and overall marks secured by the candidate. Such candidates who qualify for the screening process will be featured in the final merit list. The admissions will be based on the final merit list only.

Rajasthan University will begin the RULET 2026 counselling tentatively in the first week of July 2026. The university will notify the RULET 2026 counselling schedule on the official website. The  RULET counselling 2026 will be held in offline mode. The university will conduct two rounds of RULET 2026 counselling after publishing the admission list. The first and second RULET 2026 admission lists will be published in the second week of July 2026, respectively. 

The RULET 2026 counselling process includes steps such as online registration, document submission, verification of documents and candidate details, and seat allotment.  The RULET 2026 counselling will be held in multiple rounds. After each round, an admission list will be declared. Shortlisted candidates have to complete the admission process by submitting the course fee. 

Rajasthan University will notify the GD and PI schedule on its official website. The Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be held from the second week of June 2026 onwards. Candidates who qualify for the entrance test are called for a personal interview. The RULET 2026 personal interview will be conducted in multiple rounds, for which the university released a roll number-wise list of candidates. The RULET personal interview and the group discussion both carry 25 marks each. It is an assessment of the candidates' personality.
