Exam Pattern of RULET

An addition to this examination, students have to go through group discussions and personal interviews, and after this, the final list is produced and students can secure their admissions to various universities around the state. The exam dates are yet to be announced, but it usually happens in June.

Eligibility Criteria For RULET 2026

• STUDENT, who is a resident of Rajasthan should have at least 50% in 10+2 and if belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC, then at least 45% in 10+2 grade. If the student is not from Rajasthan, then he or she must have at least 60% in the 10+2 grade.

• There is no upper limit or lower limit of age for this examination. The rules will be as per the Bar Council of India.

RULET 2026 Exam Syllabus

The RULET exam consists of five sections that is English, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs and GK, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. The detailed RULET syllabus is as follows

English

• To understand the technical jargons asked in English, one must improve their vocabulary by reading newspapers and novels such as The Hindu, The Economic Times, the Indian Express et cetera.

• For paraphrasing one must read the newspaper article in terms of the opinion and the explanation section and write it in its own words to retain it for a longer time, and it would make the notes for the future references as well.

• Skimming up passages is important for easy questions.

• Continuous reading is the key to solving the questions and gaining maximum marks.

Current Affairs and General Knowledge

• Reading newspaper articles, and editorials daily by staying up to date with the news and the world that happens nationally and internationally would help a student to crack questions easily.

• Aspiring students can refer to various current affairs booklets provided by various coaching centres for a detailed understanding of any below amendment, UPSC notes would be suggested

• A student can refer and prepare for a year's current affairs that would be sufficient for the examination.

• General knowledge and current affairs is a section that can make and break your marks and dry as you know completely or you know nothing about it.

• Reading every day and maintaining consistency and discipline towards the subject would give you a substantial mark.

Legal Reasoning:

• Legal reasoning is a section which is a Law student's favourite. Reading it properly and comprehensively is the key to achieving success in reality.

• Legal reasoning comprises contemporary laws and modern issues. The questions are mostly Principles and Facts-based, so understanding the concept is important.

• It has been observed that in previous years the majority of the questions are dependent upon Contract Law, Tort Law, Constitutional Law, Family Law, international law, and Intellectual Property Rights.

• Understanding the concept would give you the multidimensional impact of a particular Law and Questions can be sold easily. In addition, the application of the previous laws can form questions in examination.

Logical reasoning:

• Aspirants must master the puzzle practice, seating arrangement, and logical sequencing to improve their analytical skills as analytical reasoning is one of the parts of the exam.

• Repeated practice of mock papers, will help understanding the pattern and variation of the question. It will also increase and build the problem. Solve skills.

• Aspirants must strengthen their deductive reasoning skills. Solving various questions would help solve questions with less time.

Quantitative techniques:

• Candidates should maintain a formula diary which they can revise regularly and most importantly keep studying.

• This section requires regular practice of solving questions as compared to any other section. So practice daily and attempt lots of questions and marks and solve a range of questions and sets.

• Candidates should learn tricks, shortcuts, and speed math, which will help them save time in the main examination.

• Asking teachers for the variable questions and solving them regularly, can help want to score the maximum
