The applicants who wish to apply for the entrance exam must have passed the board exam (10+2) from a board or University recognized by the University of Calcutta in the year 2016 – 2018 (for General); 2014 - 2018 (for SC/ST) and 2011 - 2018(for PWD)
The minimum marks required by candidates of General Category is 45 percent in best four subjects (excluding Environmental Studies of WBCHSE)
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category require a minimum of 40 percent marks in best four subjects (except Environmental Studies of WBCHSE)
Those applicants who have passed from boards other than WBCHSE, ISC, CBSE and Rabindra Mukto Vidyalay must be obtained an Equivalence Certificate from the office of the Registrar, (Equivalence Section) University of Calcutta.
It must be noted that this certificate will be required at the time of Admission.
