Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply online from the university's official website. The last date to submit the PU LLB application form 2024 is May 31, 2024. Panjab University has notified that PU LLB 2024 exam will be conducted on June 23, 2024. The university has announced all the other PU LLB exam dates 2024 through its official website. Candidates from general and OBC category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2520 and candidates from SC/ST and PwD category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1260.

The university conducts the PU LLB entrance exam 2024 for admission to 3-year LLB courses at Department of Laws, P.U., Chandigarh, P.U. Regional Centre, Muktsar (Punjab), UIL,P.U., Regional Centre, Ludhiana (Punjab) and UILS, Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Bajwara, Hoshiarpur. The PU LLB 2024 entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode. The exam conducting body will prepare a merit list of admissions and 100% weightage will be given to the performance of candidates in the PU LLB entrance examination. The entrance exam will be held at only centre in Chandigarh city.

According to the PU LLB exam pattern, there will be around 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question will carry one mark, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. As per the PU LLB entrance exam syllabus, questions in the entrance exam will be asked from the following topics.

Candidates planning to take admission to the 3-year LLB programme offered by the university must be aware of its admission process. The final merit for admission shall be computed after taking into account the relative weightage for final merit for admission in respective courses. The entrance test of PU LLB 2024 carries 50% weightage in the selection process. The remaining 50% weightage is borne by the marks scored by the candidate in the qualifying exam.

Panjab University prescribes the PU LLB 2024 eligibility criteria through an official notification. For PU LLB admissions, candidates must be graduates in their respective fields. Before filling the application form, candidates must thoroughly check the eligibility criteria of PU LLB 2024. Candidates who will meet the below given criteria will be eligible to take the exam:
Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in any discipline from Panjab University or any other university recognized by the Bar Council of India or Panjab University.
Candidates must have scored minimum 45% aggregate score in their graduation or post graduation.
SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates must score at least 40% in their graduation or post graduation.

Panjab University will first release the PU LLB provisional answer key 2024 on June 28, 2024. Candidates will get an opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key of PU LLB 2024. Applicants willing to raise objections against the answer key will have to pay a specified fee through an online window with proper clarification and explanation for objection. After considering the objections raised by students against the provisional answern key, the exam conducting authorities will release the PU LLB 2024 final answer key.

The application form along with the prospectus for PU LLB is released on 1st June, the exam is to be conducted on 24th July, admit card will get released on 19th July,
the entrance test of PU LLB is to be conducted for 90 minutes carrying 100 MCQs in English/Hindi/Punjabi, for each correct answer one mark is awarded, and in case of incorrect attempt 0.25 mark is deduced, the section mainly consists of legal aptitude, reasoning ability and english, current affairs and general knowledge.
