SLAT Selection Procedure 2025 - Personal Interview & WAT Round (Removed)

Symbiosis International University (SIU) follows its own SLAT selection procedure for giving admission to the candidates to UG law programmes. In the SLAT 2025 selection process. 70% weight is given to the SLAT scores and 30% weightage is given to the Personal Interaction (PI) round. The candidate's score in SLAT 2025 will be converted to a scaled score of out of 70 marks. The online PI round of SLAT will carry 30 marks. The SLAT selection 2025 will be done on the basis of consolidated marks in the exam and PI round. SLAT 2025 is scheduled to be conducted in two phases on December 13 and December 15. The SLAT 2025 exam is conducted by the SIU, However, the PI rounds will be conducted separately by each law school. Candidates will be able to appear for the SLAT selection process of only those Symbiosis Law Schools and for those programmes for which they paid the additional programme fee of Rs 1000 at the time of SLAT 2025 registration done online.

• The Written Ability Test (WAT) round has been removed from the SLAT 2025 selection procedure.
• SLAT exam will be conducted for 60 marks, however, the scores will be scaled up to 70 marks.

SLAT selection procedure 2025: Explained

Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts a common law entrance test for the candidates who seek admission to its four affiliated law schools. The PI round will be held separately by the participating law schools.

SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) 2025

SLAT will be conducted in online (CBT) mode around 77 test centres across the country. As per the SLAT syllabus, there are five sections spread across five sections. Candidates will have to answer 60 objective-type questions within 60 minutes as per SLAT 2025 exam pattern. The questions in the law admission test will be based on the subjects mentioned below in a table.

Declaration of SLAT result 2025

SIU will declare the result of SLAT 2025 on December 26, 2024. It announces the SLAT result in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website - set-test.org. Candidates will be shortlisted for the subsequent admission round on the basis of their marks secured in the admission test. However, the marks obtained in the exam will have only 70% weightage. Hence, candidates will have to score well in the PI round to get admission to their preferred law schools.

SLAT 2025 PI round - Who can appear?

Candidates who clear the entrance exam will be shortlisted by the law schools for PI round. Such candidates will receive the PI invitation letters in their registered emails. They would be required to perform online PI slot booking and upload the CV as per prescribed format. SLAT PI round is an important part of the SLAT 2025 selection procedure. Candidates must attend these rounds to be eligible for admission to law programmes in the affiliated colleges of SIU.

SLAT PI round 2025

The SLAT PI round is conducted by the affiliated law schools of SIU to test the personality of the candidates. The interviews will be conducted either in online mode. The PI round will be of 30 marks. Candidates are advised to maintain composure and stay confident by preparing for the PI round. Candidates have to upload important documents along with a Curriculum vitae containing the below-mentioned information

• SLAT 2025 ID and score

• Marks obtained in Class 10 and 12

SLAT merit list 2025

The law schools will prepare the SLAT 2025 merit list containing the names of the candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the examination and PI round. Such candidates will have to complete their admission process by paying the admission fee and submitting the necessary documents. The law schools will release the merit list of SLAT 2025 on the basis of the below-mentioned parameters.
