SLAT Selection Process 2020 - With the release of SLAT 2020 application form, the Symbiosis International University has commenced the admission process for BA LLB and BBA LLB courses. Candidates will have to go through the entire SLAT 2020 selection process to finally secure a seat in the law courses offered by the participating institutes of SET. The complete SLAT selection process includes screening the candidates on the basis of SLAT 2020, personal interview (PI) and writing ability test (WAT) which follows with a verification round. Finally, admissions through SLAT 2020 are offered clearly on the basis of the merit list prepared at the end of counselling. SLAT selection process 2020
Entrance test - SIU has a long admission process which literally starts with the conduct of entrance exam. The SLAT 2020 is the first step to the screening process, which will be conducted in offline mode. As per the SLAT exam pattern, the test paper consists of multiple-choice questions from topics like legal aptitude, General knowledge, maths, English etc. The entrance test carries 50% weightage in the SLAT selection process.
Result declaration - The authorities will declare the SLAT 2020 result on August, 7, in online mode. SLAT result 2020 will contain the details like marks obtained by the candidate, roll number, name etc. The result is declared to shortlist the candidates for personal interview and writing ability test, which further carries 50% weightage in the SLAT selection process. Apart from the result, the authorities will also release the SLAT scorecard 2020 which will be downloadable by logging into the candidate portal.
SLAT 2020 cut off announcement - The scores obtained by each candidate is shared with the participating colleges, following which, each college will release the SLAT cut off on the basis of the following.
Merit prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates.
College choice filed by the candidates
The cut off of SLAT 2020 will be the last rank of the candidate who will be considered for PI and WAT round. Candidates coming under SLAT cut off at this stage are called for PI&WAT and counselling round.
Personal interview and Writing ability test - Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the entrance test are called for PI and WAT round. The SLAT PI and WAT round is conducted separately in each SLAT 2020 participating colleges.

SLAT Counselling 2020 and seat allotment - Candidates shortlisted after the result declaration are called for counselling and seat allotment process. The SLAT counselling 2020 involves verification of candidates and documents submitted by them.
Candidates should note that, SLAT 2020 counselling will be conducted in each participating college in a decentralised manner. The schedule of SLAT counselling is released in the official website of each college.
Once the counselling and seat allotment is done, the successful candidates will have to submit the course fee which can be done on both online and offline mode.

After the conduct of SLAT counselling, each participating institutes will release a merit list, The SLAT merit list will consist of the names of the candidates who are finally selected on the basis of following parameters.

Computer Science Engineering at RMK College of Engineering and Technology Thiruvallur last year opening cutoff is 177 and closing cutoff is 165 in 2nd round of counselling. So, you will definitely get this college in 2nd or 3rd round through counselling.

This is the eligibility criteria for CUCET 2020-
- Candidate should be an Indian.
- For UG courses, the candidate should pass the 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in class 12th for General caste candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates is mandatory.
