SLAT 2024: The Symbiosis Law Schools have published the SLAT 2024 second merit list online. Candidates can check the merit list by visiting the official website - set2024.ishinfosys.com/SETPIRESULTY24/ and login with their SET Law ID and password. The shortlisted candidates must also complete their admission before the stipulated deadline. The first SLAT merit list 2024 for all four Symbiosis Law schools has already been published. Earlier, all the Symbiosis Law Schools had published the SLAT 2024 PI shortlist and candidates were required to login to book the slots and upload the required documents. Each SLS is conducting the SLAT 2024 counselling separately. The SLAT 2024 counselling schedule for all four Symbiosis Law Schools has been announced on their individual websites.

SIU had declared the SLAT 2024 result for both phases on May 22, 2024. SIU had conducted the SLAT 2024 phase 1 on May 5, 2024 and phase 2 on May 11, 2024 after issuing SLAT 2024 admit card in online mode. The SLAT 2024 exam analysis is also available for the both the phases. Symbiosis Law Admission Test was conducted in online mode at designated test centres across the country. The SLAT 2024 admission process also includes a Personal Interaction (PI) round which would be conduted for shortlisted candidates after declaration of SLAT 2024 result. The Writing ability test (WAT) has been removed from the selection process of SLAT. Only those candidates who are shortlisted in the test will be considered for PI round.
Symbiosis International University conducted SLAT 2024 in online mode at around 76 test centres across the country. Through SLAT 2024 candidates would be able to gain admission into 5-year integrated LLB programmes of the four Symbiosis Law Schools in India. The Symbiosis Law Schools at Pune, Noida, Nagpur and Hyderabad offer BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programmes.
Candidates were allowed to register and appear for both phases of SLAT 2024. The syllabus of SLAT 2024 includes sections on legal aptitude, logical reasoning, English, current affairs and general knowledge. There were a total of 60 objective-type questions divided into these five sections. If candidates have appeared for both phases of SLAT 2024 then their best score among the two would be considered for admission purposes.

The second phase of SLAT 2024 was held on May 11, 2024. SIU conducted the first phase of SLAT 2024 on May 5, 2024, from 9 am to 10 am. The SLAT exam date 2024 was announced along with the admission notification on the official website - set-test.org. The SLAT 2024 selection procedure consists of the Personal Interaction round. The entrance exam is scaled to 70 marks while the Personal Interaction (PI) carries 30 marks. SIU is not conducting SLAT WAT this year. The personal interaction (PI) round of SLAT 2024 will be conducted by each law school separately. SLAT PI round aims to test the personality of the candidate along with motivation for pursuing a law programme.
The final SLAT merit list will take into account both the SLAT score and the PI score. It is compulsory for candidates to attend all parts of the SLAT selection process to be considered for admission. If candidates fail to attend any component, they would be disqualified from the admission process.

All the four Symbiosis Law Schools have issued the SLAT PI 2024 call letter. Candidates must login into the official website with their id and password to download the SLAT PI call letter. Each SLS conducted the SLAT PI separately. Earlier, the law schools had completed slot booking and document upload for the SLAT PI process.
Once the PI conclude, the law colleges release the SLAT 2024 merit list. The merit list will have the details of the selected candidates based on the total scores obtained in the exam and PI. Each of the four SLS will publish their merit list separately. Candidates included in the merit list of SLAT 2024 will have to complete the admission process by submitting the course fee within the deadline. The SLAT merit lists are generally released in three rounds. However, in the event of any vacant seat, waitlisted candidates will be invited to complete the admission process.
Law aspirants looking to apply for SLAT 2024 must meet the SLAT eligibility criteria 2024 given by the SIU for law courses. All courses offered through SLAT exam 2024 are undergraduate programmes. They have a common eligibility as mentioned in the table below. Failing to meet the eligibility criteria can lead to disqualification of the candidates even if the candidates have qualified in SLAT 2024.
Candidates must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent to appear in SLAT 2024. However, candidates appearing in the qualifying exam (Class 12) are also eligible to appear in SLAT 2024. However, such candidates must meet the admission eligibility criteria by the time of SLAT counselling.

The university has closed the SLAT 2024 application process on April 14, 2024. Earlier, SIU had opened the SET Law (SLAT) registration window on December 12, 2023. The SLAT 2024 registration form was available on the official website - set-test.org. Eligible candidates could register and submit their application forms by the end of the deadline. The SLAT application process included online registration, entering personal and education details, communication address and programme and college selection. Candidates could register for SLAT 2024 for both the phases. However, they would have to submit application fee for each phase. Candidates who successfully register and submit the application fee will be eligible to appear for SLAT 2024.

While filling out the application form, candidates had to pay the registration fee. Additionally, candidates also had to pay for each programme at each of the law school, they selected during the registration process. Offline submission of SLAT 2024 application fee could be done through a demand draft.
