TS LAWCET Merit List 2025

Soon after the declaration of results, admission officials prepare the TS LAWCET 2025 merit list using the marks scored by the candidate in the entrance exam. One fundamental reason for preparing the TS LAWCET merit list is to shortlist candidates for the counselling and seat allotment process. Depending on the number of seats available for various programmes, admission officials will make general and category-specific merit lists; and using these merit lists candidates will be invited for counselling.

Typically those ranked higher in the TS LAWCET merit list 2025 will get preference during the seat allotment process.

Candidates with similar marks: How to decide the TS LAWCET merit rank

It may happen that two or more candidates may end up securing the same marks in the state-level exam. In such an event, the ranking of such candidates will be determined in the following way:

Tie-breaking procedure

  • The candidate who has a higher score in Part A will be allotted a higher rank
  • Next, marks of Part B will be considered
  • If the tie remains, they may be bracketed together, but at the time of admission, the candidate senior in age will be given preference.

The admission conducting authority will release the category-wise TS LAWCET cutoff 2025 for all the participating colleges during the counselling. Also, the TS LAWCET 2025 cutoff will be course-specific. The cutoff will indicate the last rank for which admission is given to a course for a particular category or institute. Candidates who score below this cutoff in the chosen course (or category or institute), he/she will not be considered for admission.

The various factors on which the TS LAWCET 2025 cutoff will depend include the number of applicants, their performance in the LAWCET 2025 entrance exam, the number of sanctioned seats, the category of the candidate, etc. If any of these parameters change, the cutoff will also automatically change.

Telangana Council for Higher Education (TGCHE) will release the schedule for TS LAWCET 2025 counselling on its official website. The counselling for TS LAWCET 2025 will be held in two different phases. Candidates who will appear for TS LAWCET 2025 and clear the minimum cut-offs will be eligible to participate in the counselling.

The counselling of TS LAWCET 2025 will be the last stage of the admission process during which the exam officials will verify the documents and information submitted by the candidates. The candidate must get their documents verified at designated centres. Post document verification, the candidate has to participate in web counselling, during which the choice should be filled and locked. Questions related to TS LAWCET

Have a question related to TS LAWCET ?

It is quite difficult to get top law colleges at this score even not the lowest cutoff university will allow students to pursue law at this score but lets hope for the best try college like kalatiya university college of law and Mahatma Gandhi law college which has low cutoff.

You are on a border line which is very close to last years cutoff at kalatiya university college of law and Mahatma Gandhi law college belonging to bc-e category you might get seat here if cutoff trends is same as last year but definitely you are not going to get osmania university and telangana university college of law because these colleges cutoff are always high.

Based on your situation, it seems there may have been some confusion regarding the eligibility criteria for non-local candidates in TS LAWCET. Generally, for state entrance exams like TS LAWCET, "non-local" candidates are those who are not residents of the state but have fulfilled specific residency requirements, such as living in the state for a certain number of years or completing a portion of their education there.

Since you are a native of Karnataka and currently live there, and you have only spent two years in Hyderabad for your PG studies from 2014-2016, you do not meet the residency requirements to be considered a "non-local" candidate for Telangana. The non-local category usually applies to those who have lived in Telangana for a specific duration, even if they are not native to the state.

As you are neither a local nor meet the residency criteria for non-local status in Telangana, it is likely that you are not eligible for TS LAWCET counseling. However, I recommend contacting the TS LAWCET authorities directly for clarification. They can provide specific guidance and confirm whether your rank allows you to participate in counseling under any special provisions or if there are any exceptions.

Hello

Congratulations on your TS LAWCET rank!

With a rank of 294, you have a good chance of getting a seat in the 5-year BALLB program at Osmania University through the Non-Local (NIQ) quota.

Osmania University has a total of 120 seats in the 5-year BALLB program, with 30% reserved for NIQ quota. Based on previous year's cutoffs, a rank of 294 might be sufficient to get a seat in the NIQ quota.

However, please note that:

1. Cutoffs may vary from year to year.

2. Seat availability and competition also play a role.

3. You need to meet the eligibility criteria and apply for the NIQ quota specifically.
