Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has declared the TS LAWCET 2025 result on June 25 at 4 pm. To qualify for TS LAWCET 2025, candidates must secure 35% marks, which is 42 marks out of a total 120 marks. For candidates belonging to the SC/ ST category, there is no minimum qualifying percentage of marks needed. Candidates who have secured above the TS LAWCET 2025 qualifying marks will be eligible to take part in the counselling process. One must note that the TS LAWCET 2025 cutoff and qualifying marks are not the same. Each TS LAWCET participating college fixes its cutoff marks based on factors like the difficulty level of exam, seat availability and college preference. Osmania University conducted the TS LAWCET 2025 on June 6, 2025, in online mode on behalf of TGCHE. The TS LAWCET 2025 exam was conducted for admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses. More than 30 law colleges in Telangana accept TS LAWCET scores.
The TS LAWCET 2025 qualifying marks refer to the minimum marks that one has to secure in the exam to qualify, and those who secure above the qualifying marks will be able to participate in the counselling process. Whereas, the TS LAWCET 2025 cut off is the minimum marks after which the participating colleges do not accept the candidature.
TGCHE prescribes the TS LAWCET 2025 qualifying marks on its official website: lawcet.tgche.ac.in through an instruction booklet. Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 35% marks of the total marks, i.e 42 marks out of 120 marks. In the table below, candidates can find out the TS LAWCET 2025 qualifying marks for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes in different categories.

TGCHE will release the TS LAWCET cut-off 2025 on its official admission website - lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in. The cutoff of TS LAWCET 2025 will be available for each round of counselling separately. The cutoff will be available in the form of closing category-wise rank for different colleges separately for both the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. Various factors are considered while determining the cutoff, such as the difficulty level of the exam, seat availability and college preference. Yes, you are eligible for TS LAWCET because the basic requirement for 3-year LL.B. is graduation from a recognized university, which you have already completed from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University . You do not need Intermediate for this.
