The percentage of marks obtained in the best four subjects (excluding Environmental Studies/Environmental Science - ENVS) at the (10+2) level (or equivalent examination) will be considered. Candidates with a higher aggregate percentage in these best four subjects will be placed higher in rank.
If the tie persists, the percentage of marks obtained in English or English Core at the (10+2) level will be taken into account. The candidate securing a higher percentage in English or English Core will be ranked higher.
If the tie remains unresolved even after applying the above two criteria, the percentage of marks obtained at the 10th level (or equivalent examination) will be considered. The candidate with a higher percentage at the 10th level will be placed higher in the merit list.
