Calcutta University (CU) has published the CU BA LLB cut off 2025 for the first round of counselling on October 29, 2025. The Calcutta University BA LLB cut-off is available on the official website - caluniv-ucsta.net/llb. Shortlisted candidates whose names are included in the provisional selection list have to upload the documents by October 30, 2025. Candidates are required to pay the seat booking fee after verification of documents on October 30 and October 31, 2025 and pay the residual admission fee in the respective Institute/ College on November 1, 2025 to confirm their acceptance. Only those candidates who clear the CU BA LLB cut-off 2025 can obtain seat allotment at the colleges. The cutoff for CU BA LLB is determined by various factors, including the number of applicants, college preferences given by the students, the reservation policy of the institute, and the difficulty level of the exam. Calcutta University conducted the CU BA LLB entrance exam 2025 to admit students into the BA LLB programme. The CULET 2025 was held on October 14, 2025. However, based on the CU BA LLB 2025 result, the candidates are arranged in the order of their ranks in the merit list published by the Calcutta University. Candidates will be allotted seats in the participating colleges as per their rank obtained in the CULET BA LLB 2025.
The CULET cutoffs were the minimum marks or rank required by candidates to qualify for CU BA LLB 2025 admission at Calcutta University and other participating colleges. The Calcutta University BA LLB cut off differs each year based on factors like the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, availability of seats and reservation criteria.

The college wise CULET cutoff list for Calcutta University BA LLB admission is released after the publication of the merit list and counselling rounds. The CULET 2025 merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the entrance test. The CULET 2025 cutoff for each participating law college is determined by factors mentioned above after the exam and may differ from college to college.
