It is quite difficult to get top law colleges at this score even not the lowest cutoff university will allow students to pursue law at this score but lets hope for the best try college like kalatiya university college of law and Mahatma Gandhi law college which has low cutoff.
You are on a border line which is very close to last years cutoff at kalatiya university college of law and Mahatma Gandhi law college belonging to bc-e category you might get seat here if cutoff trends is same as last year but definitely you are not going to get osmania university and telangana university college of law because these colleges cutoff are always high.
Based on your situation, it seems there may have been some confusion regarding the eligibility criteria for non-local candidates in TS LAWCET. Generally, for state entrance exams like TS LAWCET, "non-local" candidates are those who are not residents of the state but have fulfilled specific residency requirements, such as living in the state for a certain number of years or completing a portion of their education there.
Since you are a native of Karnataka and currently live there, and you have only spent two years in Hyderabad for your PG studies from 2014-2016, you do not meet the residency requirements to be considered a "non-local" candidate for Telangana. The non-local category usually applies to those who have lived in Telangana for a specific duration, even if they are not native to the state.
As you are neither a local nor meet the residency criteria for non-local status in Telangana, it is likely that you are not eligible for TS LAWCET counseling. However, I recommend contacting the TS LAWCET authorities directly for clarification. They can provide specific guidance and confirm whether your rank allows you to participate in counseling under any special provisions or if there are any exceptions.
Hello
Congratulations on your TS LAWCET rank!
With a rank of 294, you have a good chance of getting a seat in the 5-year BALLB program at Osmania University through the Non-Local (NIQ) quota.
Osmania University has a total of 120 seats in the 5-year BALLB program, with 30% reserved for NIQ quota. Based on previous year's cutoffs, a rank of 294 might be sufficient to get a seat in the NIQ quota.
However, please note that:
1. Cutoffs may vary from year to year.
2. Seat availability and competition also play a role.
3. You need to meet the eligibility criteria and apply for the NIQ quota specifically.
To confirm your chances, I recommend:
1. Checking the official Osmania University website for cutoffs and admission details.
2. Contacting the university's admission office or a reliable education consultant for personalized guidance.
Best of luck with your admissions!
With a 14th rank in TS LAWCET (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) but being from Andhra Pradesh (AP), here’s what you should consider regarding admission to Osmania University:
1. Local vs. Non-Local Quota: Osmania University has a local and non-local quota for admissions. As you are from AP, you will be considered under the non-local category.
2. C utoff Ranks: Generally, higher ranks in TS LAWCET might get admission based on the cutoff for non-local candidates.
3. Counseling Process: Participate in the counseling process and apply based on your rank.
4. Contact the University: Reach out to Osmania University's admission office for specific details about admission chances for non-local candidates with your rank.
For the most accurate information, consult the TS LAWCET official website or contact Osmania University's admission office directly.
