IPU CET Law Counselling 2018: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will begin the counselling of IPU CET Law 2018 from June, 2018. Soon after the announcement of IPU CET Law results, the university will release the IPU CET Law Merit list with the name and other details of those candidates who have qualified the IPU common entrance test for law. The university shortlists candidates for its round of IPU CET Law counselling 2018 based on their marks and ranks secured as per the cut off and merit lists. These shortlisted candidates will be eligible to get admissions to GGSIPU’s five year integrated law programmes B.A. LLB and BBA LLB offered by the 11 affiliated law colleges. Once the candidates qualify for the counselling rounds based on the cut off marks acquired, they will be required to register for IPU CET Law counselling 2018 online by paying the counselling fee. During the counselling of IPU CET Law, candidates will also have to fill their choices of preferred law institutes. After completing this process, they need to report to the designated institute with the required documents and pay the admission fees in person. IPU CET Law Counselling 2018 – Important Steps
Candidates seeking admissions to any of the 11 affiliated law colleges of GGSIPU must follow the below mentioned procedure to register themselves:
Candidates need to register online to be eligible for the counselling process.
At the time of registration, they need to pay the requisite counselling fee.
Once the registration is completed, a login-id and password will be generated. These details will be required at the time of online counselling of IPU CET Law.
Candidates must save the registration confirmation page and the registration form. They should also take a printout of the same once registration is successful.
IPU CET Law 2018 Counselling - Payment of Fee
During online registration for the IPU CET Law counselling 2018, candidates need to pay a particular amount as the counselling fees. This IPU CET Law 2018 counselling fee can be paid either online or offline. The fee for the counselling of IPU CET Law 2018 is yet to be announced. According to the last year IPU CET Law entrance exam, the counselling fee was fixed at Rs 1000/-. It is expected to remain the same this year.

IPU CET Law Counselling 2018 - Choice Filling of Institutes
To facilitate seat allotment, candidates are required to fill in their choices of preferred law institutes.
Based on the choices filled, the University will allot seats to the candidates. To increase chances of getting a seat in the University, candidates must fill in as many choices as possible.
Once the first round of seat allotment is completed, candidates can edit their choices based on their preferences.
IPU CET Law 2018 Counselling - Allotment of Seats
After the indication of college of their choice, seat will be allotted. This will be based on merit, choice, category, and region.
Seat allotment results can be checked online.
Candidates must remember to print the provisional allotment letter once seats have been allotted to them.
If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat, they will need to pay an admission fees of Rs. 40,000/- as an acceptance and confirmation of the seats. The same can be paid either online or offline.
Failure to pay the fees will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. This will also forfeit chances of participating in further rounds of IPU CET Law counselling 2018.
If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seats, they can modify their choices for the remaining rounds of counselling of IPU CET Law 2018.
Upon payment of the admission fees, a second IPU CET Law counselling round will be held. In this round, candidates will be given a chance to upgrade their choice of seats.
Once the seat allotment process is completed, candidates will need to report to the allotted college and submit the provisional seat offer letter, receipt of payment of academic fee and other necessary documents.
Failure to produce these documents will forfeit their chances of claiming the allotted seats.

There may be an offline spot IPU CET Law counselling round conducted by the University based on the availability of seats in IPU CET Law participating institutes 2018.
Withdrawal of admission and refund of seats will not be allowed for candidates who participate in spot counselling of IPU CET Law.

Answer: No. The rounding off practice is not applicable for percentage of marks of qualifying examination. For example, if the candidate secures 49.99% in his/her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded off to 50%.
