Candidates who have filled out the IPU BA LLB application form 2025 can register for the counselling process through their login. The IPU BA LLB 2025 CLAT counselling registrations are likely to begin in May 2025. Candidates must also pay the required IPU BA LLB 2025 counselling registration fee to participate in the counselling process of IPU BA LLB 2025. Candidates with a valid score in CLAT 2025 and CUET BA LLB 2025 can apply for IPU BA LLB 2025 registration. Submission of counselling fee: Candidates should deposit a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs.1,000. This fee will be remitted if the candidates will select the option for ‘payment of counselling participation fee’. After submitting the details the candidates will get options of payment, cash payment (through challan), net banking(credit card, debit card or net banking).

Choice Filling: After the registration procedure, candidates will have to fill out the choice of seats to be allotted. Candidates should select the choices from the all available combinations of all institutions and courses. Once filling of choices, candidates will not be eligible to fill the choices of their preferences. Candidates should fill a maximum number of choices to increase their chance of getting a desirable seat.
Seat allotment: After completing the process of choice filling, the seat will be allotted based on merit, preference of candidate, category, and region. If the seat is confirmed or allotted, the candidates should take a printout of the allotment letter. Candidates will have to pay Rs. 60,000 to confirm their seats.
Freezing of Allotted Seat (after every round): After the allotment of seats, if a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and does not want to participate in further counselling rounds, then they will have to freeze their seats by selecting the freeze option. If the candidate does not freeze the allotted seat, then they are allotted the next higher preference automatically in the next round.
Withdrawal and fee refund: If a candidate wants to withdraw the allotted seat after depositing the academic fee, then they should withdraw the allotted seat by selecting the withdraw option on the login account before the last date. After withdrawing and refunding the fee, the candidate will not be considered for subsequent rounds of online counselling except for ‘spot’ counselling.
Last Round of Allotment: After the last round of allotment of seats, candidates will not have the option to withdraw the seats and get a refund of fees. In the last round of online counselling the category-wise and region-wise seats will be converted to unreserved category seats.
Sliding of allotted seat: Candidates who have been allotted a seat and have also paid a part of the academic fee will be allotted seats based on merit basis. After the sliding round, the seat-allocated candidates must report to the allocated institution for verification of documents and submission of the balance amount of fees.
Reporting to the institution: After the sliding round candidates can generate the provisional admission slip along with the enrollment number. Candidates have to report to the allotted college along with their admission slip, provisional allotment letter, academic fee receipt and necessary documents.If the candidates fail to produce the required documents the admission will get cancelled automatically.

The colleges will conduct the spot round of IPU Law 2025 counselling after completing the admission process to fill vacant seats. The spot round of counselling will be organized in offline mode. Candidates who had withdrawn their seats can also participate in the spot round counselling.
IPU BA LLB counselling 2025 registration will open tentatively in May 2025.
